The vehicle of earth is also the vehicle that leads to Buddhahood, and because that vehicle also eliminates the obscurations of afflictions and near afflictions, that vehicle is called the Buddha Vehicle that has become without obscurations. Thus, by becoming without obscurations, it eliminates the afflictions of views such as viewing with end and without end. It should be connected in this way. After the word "view," connect the words view, view without end, eternal view, annihilation view, arising view, and destruction view, one by one. Among these, the view with end and without end is as follows: Here, some ascetics or Brahmins, relying on worldly meditation, perceive the world as having an end, or perceive it as being without end. How do they view it? They seek in this way, whether the end of the world will ultimately be cut off or not. When they remember the eon of destruction, they have the idea of having an end, which is the view of having an end. When they remember the eon of formation, they have the idea of being without end, which is the view of being without end. The eternal view is that some ascetics or Brahmins believe that the self and the world are eternal, not made, not made by what is made, not emanated, not made by what is emanated, cannot be killed, exist permanently, and are as stable as the life force. The annihilation view is that some ascetics and Brahmins think like this: I have a physical body, coarse, born from the four great elements, and as long as it exists, dwells, and lives, it is always accompanied by disease, boils, pain, epidemics, and all kinds of suffering. Once I die, I will be annihilated, disappear, and then I will be completely annihilated. The arising view is to view things as arising. The destruction view is to view things as ceasing. Saying "all that has become view" is to include all that is not mentioned by name, such as the view of self. Co-arising is the manifest arising of afflictions. Obscurations are the five obscurations. Cutting is the cutting that interrupts virtue.

The ground is pure. Doubt is disbelief in truth and the Three Jewels. Regret is the mental pain that arises later, whether one has done good or bad deeds, or not done them. Eliminating means that these are abandoned by this vehicle. That vehicle is distinguished by superior intention and great compassion, and thus, by "being," etc., it shows the qualities of perfect benefit for oneself and others. Being distinguished by superior intention and great compassion means that it arises from the cause of great superior intention and great compassion. Among them, thinking of placing sentient beings in happiness is great superior intention. Thinking of making sentient beings free from suffering is great compassion. Because it arises from those two causes, it will make the benefit of oneself and others perfect. The perfection of one's own benefit is also of four kinds. What are the four? Perfect Dharma, perfect vehicle, perfect worldly and transmundane wealth, and perfect path of non-abiding nirvana. Among them, the so-called perfect Dharma shows the perfect Dharma. Dharma is also of three kinds. What are the three? Dharma to be known, Dharma to be practiced, and Dharma to be attained. Among them, the Dharma to be known is the twelve divisions of scripture. The Dharma to be practiced is the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment. The Dharma to be attained is nirvana, and because it possesses those, it is called perfect Dharma. The so-called possessing all jewels shows the perfect vehicle. Because the Three Jewels, such as the Buddha, and all the vehicles, such as the Hearer's Vehicle, are gathered in that vehicle, it is called possessing all jewels. The so-called obtaining all perfections shows the perfect worldly and transmundane wealth. Because by relying on that vehicle, one will obtain all worldly and transmundane perfections, it is called obtaining all perfections. The so-called going on the non-deceptive path shows the perfect path of non-abiding nirvana. Non-deceptive
