Thus it is said. For those who are skilled in the three times, summarizing the meanings of the above, wanting to teach, said "In what three times" etc., wherein the word "what" is connected with Bodhisattva, meaning "what Bodhisattva". The so-called "these three times" refers to the past, future, and present times mentioned above. To perfect without attachment, this sentence is also connected with the previous three sentences, that is, connected with perfecting without attachment to self-interest, perfecting without attachment to the benefit of others, and perfecting without attachment to the meaning of Bodhi. Among them, making oneself completely mature, or the meaning of benefiting oneself is self-interest, which also has two natures of abandonment and accomplishment. Among them, abandonment also has three types, namely abandoning afflictions, abandoning suffering, and completely abandoning. Among them, abandoning afflictions means viewing the upper ground as peaceful with the worldly path, viewing the lower ground as a fault, and from the realm of nothingness downwards, temporarily suppressing afflictions, and with the supramundane path of seeing and meditation, completely removing the habitual tendencies of afflictions such as desire. Among them, abandoning suffering means completely abandoning the suffering of being born in the three lower realms, and the suffering of being born in the three realms. Completely abandoning means that after abandoning afflictions and suffering, once abandoned, they will never arise in that mindstream under any circumstances. Among them, accomplishment also has two types, namely accomplishing worldly happiness and accomplishing supramundane happiness. Accomplishing worldly happiness means being born in the happy realms of gods and humans until supramundane happiness is not attained. Supramundane happiness also has two types, namely superior and unsurpassed. Among them, superior means relying on the Hearer and Solitary Buddha vehicles to attain Nirvana with remainder and Nirvana without remainder. Unsurpassed means relying on the Great Vehicle.

Achieving the basis for the perfection of oneself and others is attaining non-abiding nirvana. The meaning of fully maturing other sentient beings or benefiting others is benefiting others, and this, like the aforementioned abandonment and practice, should be understood as twofold. Bodhi itself is the ultimate truth, hence it is the meaning of bodhi. The term 'bodhi' here should be understood as referring to the three types of bodhi, because they are the fruits of the noble ones. Alternatively, cultivating the noble path in order to fully mature the qualities of the Buddha, such as powers, fearlessness, and non-common qualities, is called the meaning of bodhi. 'Accomplishing completely without attachment' means that there is no grasping at inherent existence in any of the three aspects of self, others, and the meaning of bodhi, and that one perfects them through the purity of the three spheres. This is the meaning of that. After explaining being skilled in the three times, by showing being skilled in all vehicles, intending to explain as it was shown, therefore asked: What is it that a Bodhisattva is skilled in all vehicles? Being skilled in all vehicles is being skilled in all vehicles, that is, realizing without error the cause, nature, and result of all vehicles. All those vehicles, when summarized, are twofold: the transcendent vehicle and the mundane vehicle. Intending to show the transcendent vehicle, it was said: These three are vehicles, they are definitely liberating, and so on. The Hearer vehicle, the Solitary Realizer vehicle, and the Bodhisattva vehicle, these three are called transcendent vehicles. Why? Because they cause one to be liberated from samsara. Intending to show the mundane vehicle, it was said: There are also two vehicles. What are the two? They are the deva vehicle and the human vehicle. That which is the vehicle of the devas is called the deva vehicle, and that which is the vehicle of humans is called the human vehicle, or the vehicle for becoming a deva and the vehicle for becoming a human are called the deva vehicle and the human vehicle. The term 'deva' refers to the Four Great Kings and the six desire realm devas, as well as the form realm devas, and the space
