That is the noble truth of knowing suffering as suffering. To show what is the origin, it is said that the latent cause of craving and the cause of views of the five aggregates is called the origin. The cause of the arising of those five aggregates is the cause of the five aggregates, which also arises from the cause of craving and the cause of views. Among them, craving and views have already been fully explained. Since those cravings and views are the cause, they are called the cause of craving and the cause of views, and latency also refers to those two. To show how to know the origin, it is said that one does not take the cause of craving and the cause of views, and so on. Not taking means not clinging to the characteristics of craving and views. Not superimposing means not regarding them as non-existent or existent. Not touching means not contemplating their nature, or not engaging in craving and views. This shows that if one realizes that the causes of the five aggregates, craving and views, are by nature unattainable and without substance, then it is called the noble truth of knowing the origin as the origin. To show what the nature of the truth of cessation is, it is said that all five aggregates are completely extinguished, not arising at the previous limit, and so on. Completely extinguished means that the cause of the arising of the five aggregates, the latency of craving and the latency of views, is abandoned, so the continuity of arising is cut off. Cessation means not connecting with other births and not acting as the cause of arising future aggregates. Or, since there is no arising in each moment, it is called completely extinguished. In one lifetime, connecting from one place to another and without arising, it is called cessation. Or, being separated from the characteristic of arising, it is called completely extinguished. Being separated from the law of destruction, it is called completely extinguished. To show the meaning of that more clearly, it is said that it does not arise at the previous limit, does not transfer to the later limit, and there is no going to the present arising. Not arising at the previous limit means that it has never arisen in the past. Not transferring to the later limit means that from the present time, the cause of the five aggregates, karma and afflictions.

Having abandoned all defilements, the five aggregates are also without inherent existence, therefore there is no life and connection in the future. Not having arisen now, and not having gone, this is because of past karma and defilements, there is no arising even in the present. Thus, in the three times of past, present, and future, the five aggregates have not arisen, and this is the nature of the truth of cessation. In order to explain how to understand the truth of cessation, therefore it is said, "To this, whoever understands in this way, this is," and so on. Regarding the nature of the five aggregates not arising, any person, as mentioned above, the truth of cessation is empty of inherent existence, understanding that there is no birth and death, and without apprehending, this is the noble truth of knowing cessation as cessation. In order to explain the nature of the truth of the path, therefore it is said, "Relying on which path to know suffering, to know the arising, to know the cessation and touch," and so on. The so-called "relying on which path" refers to abiding in which path that understands the nature of suffering, arising, and cessation as emptiness. The so-called "touching" means not regarding suffering and arising as the black side, and not regarding cessation as the white side. The so-called "abiding in non-dual wisdom" means understanding that the two are inseparable. The wisdom that abides in this way is the noble truth of the path, and the so-called "going to the cessation of suffering" means obtaining or understanding the path to the cessation of suffering. In order to explain how to become knowledgeable about the truth of the path, therefore it is said, "Whoever knows this as emptiness, this is the noble truth of knowing the path as the path." Such a truth of the path also understands emptiness, and without apprehending, this is the noble truth of knowing the path as the path. In order to summarize and explain the extensively explained truths, therefore it is said, "Whoever knows these four noble truths with wisdom, and does not know them with the conceptual thought of truth, this is," and so on. The so-called "whoever" refers to any person. Noble
