By means of (wisdom's) light, completely removing afflictions and cognitive obscurations, causing beings to abide in their respective fruits. If one wishes to further explain the nature of truth, then it is said, "Furthermore, there are two kinds of truth," and so on. The word "furthermore" should be understood as a supplement to what was said before. In order to understand the way of teaching and explaining here, it is necessary to understand what these two forms are. These two forms are conventional truth and ultimate truth, which is an explanation of the way of explanation. Among them, conventional truth is the way of explanation explained by "when" and so on. All the terms of the world are true, therefore they are conventional truth, because they are only true on the level of appearance. Therefore, it is also said in the sutra, "For the people of the world, whatever exists is true, then it is true." Ultimate reality itself is true, therefore it is ultimate truth, because it does not change its state of existence. Therefore, it is also said in the sutra, "Conditioned things are false because they are deceptive; unconditioned things are true." Why are the two truths explained? In order to explain the noble path and the fruit of the path, the two truths are explained. In order to explain the noble path, conventional truth is explained. In order to explain the fruit of the path, ultimate truth is explained. Or, considering the object of knowledge of worldly people and the object of knowledge that transcends the world, the two truths are explained. Considering the object of knowledge of worldly people, conventional truth is explained. Considering the object of knowledge that transcends the world, ultimate truth is explained. In order to explain conventional truth, it is said, "Conventional truth is," and so on. The many things expressed in words are terms. The truth understood through these expressions is conventional truth. Conventional truth also has two forms: the object of knowledge of non-erroneous worldly people and the object of knowledge of erroneous worldly people. Among them, the non-erroneous knowledge of worldly people is the pure worldly wisdom obtained through subsequent attainment. In order to explain its object, it is said, "When is it said that something is true," that is, the truth of suffering, etc., is explained.

Completed. So, what is "speaking truthfully at the appropriate time"? It means that a person who possesses thorough understanding, having arisen from non-conceptual samadhi, combines the meaning of how they have experienced it with the time when those to be tamed are fully ripened. With the pure worldly wisdom attained afterwards, they truthfully speak and reveal, "This is the truth of suffering, this is the truth of the origin of suffering." This is what is called "speaking truthfully at the appropriate time." In order to show the object of deluded worldly knowledge, it is said, "worldly conventions," and so on. It means that worldly conventions, the meaning expressed by sounds related to letters, are called worldly conventions, as well as what is expressed by letters, sounds, and symbols. Because all worldly conventions are false, they are deluded. Alternatively, speaking truthfully at the time of taming is called conventional truth. So, what is truth in that case? It is what is said, "What is the truth of suffering," and so on. What is speaking? It is what is said, "worldly conventions," and so on. In essence, revealing the four noble truths, such as suffering, with letters, sounds, and symbols that conform to worldly conventions, is called conventional truth. In order to show the ultimate truth, it is said, "The ultimate truth is that inexpressible dharma-nature, nirvana." Because it is the supreme object or result of transcendent wisdom, it is the ultimate truth. That which possesses the dharma of non-forgetfulness is the dharma-nature of non-forgetfulness. The suchness that inherently possesses the nature of non-arising and non-ceasing, and is primordially luminous by its very nature, is the non-deceptive dharma-nature, and that is called the ultimate truth. Why is that? It means, why is suchness a non-deceptive dharma-nature? That is the meaning of the phrase. In order to show the cause of the non-deceptive dharma-nature, it is said, "Because it is always the suchness of dharma, therefore its essence is constant." Its essence refers to the nature of suchness. The nature of suchness is constant because it does not change from the nature of non-arising and non-ceasing. Therefore, it does not deceive.
