In order to explain the knowledge of the path, the so-called knowledge of the path means not clinging to all phenomena that have become equality. That is to say, it is said that even for the truth of the path, it is not like the noble Shravakas who abandon the side of afflictions and realize the side of purification. However, realizing that afflictions and the side of purification are both equal, and therefore not clinging to it, is called knowledge of the path. Alternatively, all phenomena are the same in taste as the sky, so they become equality. Not clinging to abandoning and accepting, permanence and impermanence, existence and non-existence, birth and non-birth, etc., from those phenomena that have become equality is called knowledge of the path. The so-called knowledge of the Bodhisattva's truth means knowing the four truths in the manner described above, which is called knowledge of the Bodhisattva's truth. In order to explain that those Bodhisattva's truths are also fully grasped by wisdom and means, it is said that Bodhisattvas thoroughly know those four noble truths with wisdom and insight in that way. Because it is the truth of becoming a noble one, it is the noble truth, or the truth of the noble ones, which is truly known and seen as it is, but children cannot truly know and see it, so it is called the noble truth. Alternatively, because it is the truth spoken by the noble Buddha and the Buddha's Shravakas, it is the noble truth. Those spoken by non-nobles are also spoken by the blessing of the Tathagatas, and holding the teachings of the Blessed One, and acting as the cause of becoming a noble one, so it is called the noble truth. The so-called "like that" means like what was explained above. Realizing the self-characteristic is wisdom, and realizing the general characteristic is insight. Alternatively, here, since wisdom is explained, wisdom itself, like what was said above, realizing emptiness is called insight, which explains being grasped by wisdom. Because of observing sentient beings.

The statement "does not manifest nirvana, and also causes all sentient beings to mature" means that although one understands the four truths, out of great compassion, for the benefit of sentient beings, one does not manifest nirvana that tends towards a one-sided peace like the Shravakas, but also causes sentient beings to mature through various methods. This shows that it is grasped by skillful means. The statement "this is the Bodhisattva's mastery of truth" means that, as mentioned above, this understanding of the four truths, completely grasped by skillful means and wisdom, is the Bodhisattva's mastery of truth. Wanting to show other characteristics of truth, therefore he spoke of "Furthermore, there are three kinds of Bodhisattva's truth," and so on. The word "furthermore" means that not only are there the four truths mentioned above, but there are also three kinds of truth. Here, one should also understand the manner of teaching and explaining. Among them, "what is conventional truth" and so on is the manner of teaching. "Then, what is conventional truth" and so on is the manner of explanation. Conventionality itself is truth, therefore it is conventional truth, because phenomena that appear like illusions and mirages can still accomplish actions in that way. Ultimate reality itself is truth, therefore it is ultimate truth, because it is of a non-deceptive nature, without being inverted. Characteristics are truth, therefore it is the truth of characteristics, because all dharmas are not mistaken as being of one taste. Why are the three truths taught? Because the three truths are taught with the intention of benefiting three kinds of sentient beings. The three kinds of sentient beings are: sentient beings who have not yet matured, sentient beings who have already matured, and sentient beings who are completely confused about the profound nature of reality. Among them, conventional truth is taught for the sake of sentient beings who have not yet matured. Ultimate truth is taught for the sake of sentient beings who have already matured. The truth of characteristics is taught for the sake of sentient beings who are completely confused about the profound nature of reality. Therefore, in the Sutra of the Ten Bhumis of the Noble Ones, it is also said: "By satisfying the minds of other sentient beings as they wish, one thoroughly knows the conventional truth."
