Therefore, this shows the second way. Moreover, the phrase "also two" and so on, shows those six perfections themselves. The so-called "path with attachment is the five perfections," these are the result of great enjoyment and so on, therefore they become the cause of samsara. Therefore, it is said to be practiced in the three realms. The generosity and so on of the Bodhisattvas, which are possessed by the distinction of complete dedication, although they have become the cause of omniscience, it is said so because of the result of great enjoyment and so on. The so-called "path without attachment is the Prajnaparamita," because it arises from the three realms. This explains "the path with outflows" and so on. The abode of characteristics is the abode of manifest clinging to the apprehended and the apprehender, therefore he has not abandoned the obscuration of knowledge. It is a limited path, like the Shravakas and so on. It is said that it is the object of consciousness, so it is said by "clinging to the extreme." The consciousness that abides in duality is consciousness, because it is its object of activity. Because it becomes an object in the way of self-knowledge, it is the nature of the consciousness of manifest clinging to duality, therefore, it is the general meaning of these words. Therefore, because there is no involvement in all knowable objects, it is clinging to the extreme, therefore it is considered to be limited. Conversely, it is the abode of no characteristics, it is completely beyond the object of consciousness, so it is said by "not clinging to the extreme." Because it transcends the nature of the consciousness of manifest clinging to duality, it pervades all knowable objects, so "not clinging to the extreme" is the general meaning of these words. Among them, the so-called "path of knowledge starts from the first ground" and so on, is said so because it is the nature of the consciousness with manifest activity, this is said by "completely knowing the realm of the conditioned." The conditioned is the consciousness with manifest activity, it is the realm of the Buddhas' dharmas. Completely knowing it is to realize it. The so-called "path of abandonment starts from the eighth ground" is the abandonment of manifest activity.

Due to the nature of, it is explained therein by fully knowing the realm of the unconditioned. The unconditioned refers to the wisdom that is free from manifest actions and spontaneously accomplished. That itself is the realm because it becomes the cause of all the Buddha's teachings. Fully knowing that is self-awareness. How is it well distinguished by meaning? It is asked to show the true limit. How is it well distinguished by wisdom? It is to show the means to understand that true limit. Meaning refers to suchness here. How is it well distinguished by meaning? It is said that it is the word that is definitely born from emptiness. How is it well distinguished by wisdom? It is said that it is the word that has become abandoning obstacles by the power of wisdom. The difference between meaning and wisdom spoken by the noble Manjushri, as well as having and not having, having is to be well distinguished below in order, and explained easily with convenience. Suchness is of two kinds, namely, the nature of merely the absence of the apprehended and the apprehender, and the nature of wisdom that is separate from the two. Among them, this, which is included in the first, is to observe the difference between meaning and wisdom. What is the second in this? That is the nature of wisdom alone. Among them, in order to show that meaning has no inherent connection, sons of lineage, meaning is unconditioned, etc., are spoken, because there is no action by cause and condition, it is unconditioned. Therefore, it is neither connected nor unconnected with anything, because it has no thing. Therefore, since it does not encounter impermanence, meaning is said to be unconnected. Its explanation is to say that it completely abandons the faults of impermanence. The nature of immutability is to say that at the time of samsara and nirvana, there is absolutely no duality in the mind, and that absence is the nature of immutability. If it is connected with duality at the time of samsara, and not connected at the time of nirvana, then it becomes change at that time, but that is also not there. Thus, the meaning of saying emptiness is not connected with either the apprehended or the apprehender even at the time of samsara. Nie
