The Bodhicitta connected with one lifetime means that in order to perfect all accumulations, one strives to accomplish the heavy responsibility of one's own and others' benefit. Its explanation is that one does not abandon the burden taken up. Taking up the burden means truly accomplishing the benefit of oneself and others. For example, the waxing moon and so on is the fourth. Its explanation is that the power becomes increasingly pure. The moon disc is the power of the distinction of increasingly pure appearances. The mind is the distinction of abilities. The example of the moon disc rising on the fourteenth night shows that the Bodhicitta connected with one lifetime is not completely perfected with a small amount. The example of the fifteenth night shows that the Tathagata's omniscient wisdom is completely perfected. The Hearers understand the truth of the path of seeing only through the selflessness of the person. What is far beyond that is that on the first ground, in the path of seeing, one understands the characteristic of the selflessness of all phenomena, the aspect of entering into all realms of phenomena. Its explanation is also that because of the sharpness of the senses, one particularly focuses on the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment. The dharma that is the cause of becoming the ally of the Buddha is the dharma of the aspects of enlightenment, which is suchness. On the first ground, in the path of seeing, one focuses on the aspect of the selflessness of all phenomena more than all the Hearers, so one particularly focuses on the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment. The Pratyekabuddhas truly understand dependent origination by clinging to the apprehended and the apprehender. Therefore, they do not understand samsara as illusion, and fearing it, they strive to liberate themselves alone. The second Bodhicitta is far beyond that, because it is free from clinging to the apprehended and the apprehender, and understands the dependent origination of illusion, which is the nature of the unreal, completely conceptualized. Because the first ground understands suchness in all aspects, although it has surpassed the Hearer's ground, it has also surpassed the Pratyekabuddha's ground.

Because of understanding the higher dependent origination, it is said that way. Its explanation is that the distinction of wisdom perfectly accomplishes infinite conduct, which means that the distinction of wisdom understands samsara as illusory, therefore there is no fear, and for the benefit of sentient beings, it perfectly accomplishes infinite conduct. The so-called third generation of Bodhicitta and so on are the place of manifestation and entry. Up to the seventh ground, it is uncertain, because there is effort there. To act without discrimination is certain. Therefore, because it cannot be moved by the discrimination of effort, that ground is called the Immovable Ground. Because there is no turning back from effort, it is called the Irreversible Ground. Therefore, it is said that it is completely beyond all the agitation of effort. The certain aggregates are the Bodhisattvas who have received empowerment, therefore it is said that it is well established in the throne. The Holy Gaya Head Mountain Sutra and Miscellaneous Sayings, the second volume, which is the last volume. Holding the alphabet is because all the letters are gathered there. The so-called "way" means similar, such as the first generation of Bodhicitta only uses the ten great vows to accomplish the Dharma of the cause of the Buddha himself, just like holding the alphabet. Therefore, it is said to focus especially on the foundation. Because it focuses especially on the ten great vows that are the foundation of all Buddhadharma, just to accomplish everything. The so-called "skillful distinction of wisdom" is the distinction of this. This is a skillful distinction. Like that, the so-called generation of Bodhicitta related to behavior is because in order to skillfully distinguish the Dharma of the nature of the accumulation of merit and wisdom, which is held by the six—that is, by manifestation and entry there, by acting with immaculate wisdom, etc. Its explanation is called skillful distinction by wisdom, which means that the wisdom of the six grounds held by the path of cultivation skillfully distinguishes the Dharma. Number and calculation, the meaning is the same.
