Touch, etc., and phenomena such as Dharma, aggregates, realms, sources, and dependent origination. "From here" means that no Dharma whatsoever is transferred from this world to the other world, or from the other world to this world. If so, wouldn't it become eternalism or the assertion of causelessness and discordant causes? The reply is: Because causes and conditions are complete, the fruition of karma also manifests. However, there is no transference there, and the fruition of karma is not wasted either. This should be understood through examples that are very famous from direct perception, inference, and reliable teachings. Just as in a well-polished mirror, the image of a face appears, but the image of the face is not transferred into the mirror. Therefore, it is said: For example, on the surface of a well-polished mirror, the image of a face appears, but the face is not transferred into the mirror's surface. However, because causes and conditions are complete, the face also manifests. Similarly, there is no transference of anyone dying from here, nor is there transference of being born in another world. However, because causes and conditions are complete, the fruition of karma also manifests. These are mutually without distinction, abandoning the agent and paths, etc. Likewise, the appearance of birth is from the order of prior increase. "These" refers to the face and the mirror. "Mutually" refers to one and one. "Without distinction" means without discrimination. "Abandoning the agent and actions, etc." means that there is no agent and action there. Wouldn't it become annihilation? "Likewise, the appearance of birth" is stated thus. How can there be action and karma without an agent? The reply is: From the order of prior increase. Just as the moon remains far away, in a small water vessel, it appears but is not transferred, yet there is function and karma. Therefore, it is said: For example, the lunar disc resides at a distance of forty-two thousand yojanas, but when a small vessel is filled with water, the image of the lunar disc appears, yet the lunar disc is not transferred to that place, but in the small vessel

Just as it appears in a vessel filled with water, the image of the moon also appears because there is no lack of causes and conditions. Similarly, whoever dies and transmigrates from here, even if unborn, the results of karma also appear because there is no lack of causes and conditions. For example, fire does not burn if the causes are incomplete, but it burns from the collection of causes and conditions. Similarly, in the ownerless, ungrasping, mutually conditioned, illusory nature, because there is no lack of causes and conditions, the place of birth, connecting the mother's womb, there the seed is the alaya-consciousness, and the sprout of name and form produced by karma and afflictions will manifest and be accomplished. External actions and deeds are the nature of the parikalpita. Therefore, external dependent arising actions and the establishment as karma should be known as the nature of the parikalpita. Similarly, the paratantra is internal, the five consciousnesses arise. Therefore, the nature of dependent arising of the paratantra is internal, the five senses and the consciousness of objects appear as visible aspects, which should be known. Because it is not the parikalpita, the ultimate truth is the parinispanna. Whatever is separated from the appearance of consciousness, which is the nature of the parikalpita and paratantra, is without conceptualization, utterly pure, completely pure like the element of water, gold, and space, the nature of afflictions and cognitive obscurations is completely pure, like the rising moon, possessing inconceivable qualities, possessing the nature of immeasurable light, without transmigration, constantly and continuously accomplishing the benefit of all sentient beings, free from beginning, middle, and end, completely transcending the three realms, free from defilements, without defilements, being the nature of abandoning defilements. The nature of the object of experience that is individually realized, completely transcending the realm of body, speech, and mind, individually knowing oneself, not relying on others, like a wish-fulfilling jewel king of various forms, it is called the unsurpassed Dharmakaya. Birth with causes and conditions, it should be known that it is always twofold. Devoid of agents and so on.
