The consciousness of the appearance of those Yama's messengers born from karma, who lead each other, and the accumulation of breath arising from the slight remnant of life, and displeasure, and shaking, and the complete drying of the palate, and the collapse of the nose, and dust, and moisture, and odor, and one's own urine and feces, and saliva sticking to the body and clothes, and the great darkness without companions, and cliffs, and mountains, and mounds, and dense forests, and empty houses, and homes, and faceless houses, and eaves, and multi-storied buildings, and fire pits, and great seas, and the mind being completely confused like going to a pile of straw, taking other aggregates, this is called death. Ignorance, sorrow arises from death. That which is called this, is that suffering within existence is sorrow. That which is called inner suffering, is that the mind is completely afflicted. Because of doing sorrow, it is sorrow, now I will be separated from joyful things and painful things, thus because of displeasure and affliction, it is called sorrow. The consciousness of the appearance of how karma increases, the former that appears, is born from the appearance of joy and fear and displeasure, the key The suffering that is spoken of, and that which is provoked from the sorrow of a disturbed mind, alas, alas, what who? How? Where to go for refuge and see? Go here. I have gone. Taken. Hit. Died. Eaten. Destroyed. Completely destroyed. Alas, only mother. Alas, only father. Brother. Sister. Son. Daughter. Wife, thus the intense suffering born from the utterance of many inverted and confused words, is wailing. Therefore, whatever is said from sorrow, that is called wailing, thus it is said. Born from wailing, the five aggregates of consciousness, the non-peaceful suffering is declared, the hindrance to bodily comfort. Born from wailing. That which is called this, is from wailing. That which is associated with the five aggregates of consciousness, that which is called this, is the collection of consciousness that is born near from the recollection of pleasant forms and sounds and smells and tastes and tactile objects.

The five sufferings closely harm, experiencing non-peace, being the nature of hindering bodily well-being, the appearance of suffering arising from the power of consciousness is called suffering. As for the suffering of mental engagement, it closely harms the mind, that is called displeasure, any other cause of approaching afflictions. By remembering the happiness and suffering of the mind, remembering past carelessness, joy, play, adornment, swaying, etc., improper mental engagement, corresponding to this, the suffering of the mind, displeasure, etc., arise as approaching afflictions. Any other cause of approaching afflictions, this is said to mean that any other approaching afflictions like this, those are also called afflictions, also called disturbances. In order to show that these twelve links of existence correspond to their names and meanings, darkness, manifestation, name and form, birthplaces, contact, because of thirst. This is said. Among them, because of darkness, it is ignorance. Manifestation means that because of manifest action, it is actions. Because of focus, it is name. Because of form, it is form. Birthplaces, contact, feeling, because of thirst, means that because of thirst, it is birthplaces. Because of contact, it is contact. Because of feeling, it is feeling. Because of thirst, it is craving. After craving, appropriation and existence arise, because of maturation and destruction and sorrow. Because of appropriation, it is appropriation. Also, because of producing existence, it is existence. Because of arising, it is birth. Because of maturation, it is aging. Because of destruction, it is death. Because of sorrow, it is sorrow. Words, etc., harm the body, because of mental displeasure, because of afflictions, the names and meanings correspond, it is shown in order. Because of verbal lamentation, it is lamentation and wailing. Because of harming the body, it is suffering. Because of harming the mind, it is displeasure. Because of afflictions, it is afflictions.
