Due to the influence of their respective karmas, not knowing anything about the various appearances of consciousness and the arising of conceptual thoughts is called ignorance. The abode of animals is in the great ocean. There are four places of birth: from eggs, from wombs, from moisture and heat, and by miraculous birth. Due to the differences in the mode of birth, the various forms of animals' consciousness appear in various ways, and their continuums are imbued with the imprints of conceptual thoughts. Apart from these, there are also donkeys, pigs, monkeys, elephants, mules, horses, deer, buffaloes, cattle, dzos, yaks, dogs, foxes, mongooses, rats, lions, tigers, bears, brown bears, jackals, cats, fish, turtles, crocodiles, infant-killing crocodiles, snakes, earthworms, leeches, sand lizards, lizards, ants, insects, anthills, centipedes, lice, worms, aquatic creatures, parrots, squirrels, cuckoos, peacocks, swans, cranes, terns, crows, vultures, owls, hoopoes, bats, and so on. 具有…的地狱等等器世界的分别念所产生的山和牧场，荒野和山谷，悬崖和水边等等的处所显现成立，凡是不知晓这些也叫做无明。四大洲是东胜身洲，南赡部洲，西牛货洲，北俱卢洲。中间的八小洲被称为：东胜身洲的属洲身洲和胜身洲，南赡部洲的属洲有财洲和胜道行洲，西牛货洲的属洲拂洲和径拂洲，北俱卢洲的属洲声不美洲和声不美洲的同类洲。洲和近洲那些如果善加区分，就会有多种差别，因为自己的分别识的显现，由分别念的力量所产生，被各种各样的习气所熏染，像那样不了解的，也叫做无明。六道众生的器世界形态的各种识的显现的差别，共同和不共同的本体全部执着为一体的分别念的力量所产生的那些不了解的，也叫做无明。其中六道天是指四大天王天，三十三天，离诤天，兜率天，乐变化天，他化自在天。此外，持明咒成就者，仙人，鹏，乾闼婆，紧那罗，大腹行，龙，夜叉等等，以及星星，星宿，星，月亮和太阳连同眷属，具有宫殿，由生和灭以及自己的业力的力量，各种识的各种显现，跟随分别念的习气那些，以及卵生，胎生，湿生，化生的出生方式的差别，以旁生道的各种各样的识的各种显现，被分别念的习气所熏染的具有驴子，猪，猴子，大象，骡子，马，鹿，水牛，黄牛，犏牛，牦牛，狗，狐狸等等的相续。

Furthermore, vidyadharas who have attained accomplishment, hermits, garudas, gandharvas, kinnaras, mahoragas, nagas, yakshas, etc., as well as stars, planets, constellations, the moon and the sun with their retinues, possessing palaces, due to birth and death and the power of their own karma, the various appearances of the various consciousnesses, following the habitual tendencies of conceptualization, and the differences in the modes of birth of egg-born, womb-born, moisture-born, and miraculously born beings, with the various appearances of the various consciousnesses of the animal realm, the continuums influenced by the habitual tendencies of conceptualization, such as donkeys, pigs, monkeys, elephants, mules, horses, deer, buffaloes, cattle, dzos, yaks, dogs, foxes, etc.
