And, existence and destruction are done by Ishvara, and knowing destruction. Due to the power of Ishvara's mind, body, the three realms, and actions, etc., will arise, it is said. Others say that merely through his generation of mind, sentient beings, such as hell beings, hungry ghosts, animals, gods and humans, etc., as well as plagues, poisons, diseases, women, men, hermaphrodites, beautiful ones, ugly ones, thieves, cunning ones, robbers, spies, those who kill, those who lie, those who drink alcohol, those who serve kings, borderlanders, hermits, cowards, those without compassion, cruel ones, those who speak harsh words, those who kill Brahmins, those who kill parents, those who kill cows, executioners, etc., as well as yakshas, rakshasas, dakinis, etc., all those who kill others, as well as happiness and suffering, etc., as well as heavens and liberation, all these arise merely through the generation of mind. Those who say that Ishvara is the creator, due to their very immature wisdom, and merely following past sayings, lacking the distinction of reason, being respectful and devoted to them, being contradictory before and after, like ignorant young children, things are not as they truly are. Contradictory to direct perception, etc., contradictory to the fruits of giving, taming, proper practice, desirable and undesirable, deeds of good and evil, what should be done and what should not be done, what can be eaten and what cannot be eaten, the fruits of heavens and liberation, etc., contradictory to reason and scriptures, etc. Merely grasping one-sided words, being blinded by their own ignorance, because they have no ability, they have become livestock, these people are even worse than livestock. The invisible son of the god of death, his nature depends on the owner of the livestock. The arising and abiding of beings, and the cause of destruction is Ishvara, then his arising and abiding, and the cause of destruction should also be explained. If it is admitted that arising and abiding have causes, then the theory of permanence will be destroyed, therefore abandoning this statement, it is reversed.

In order to ultimately establish, Ishvara is not the sole cause. If merely by intention things could arise, then all beings would simultaneously arise, exist, and perish. Therefore, this is also an unestablished point, because it would entail that everything is constantly arising. Giving rise to suffering, evil, hostility, impurity, ingratitude, and so on, is also an unestablished point, because there is no special necessity. The labor of giving these is fruitless. For things that are unnecessary, those who engage in prior deliberation do not intervene, because necessity is not pervasive. If those things related to necessity change, then the intervention of those who engage in prior deliberation will also reverse, therefore this is also an unestablished point. When cause and conditions are complete, arising and ceasing occur sequentially, and they appear manifestly; if they are incomplete, there is no arising. The happiness and suffering, etc., of sentient beings and the container world arise, exist, and perish only through sequence. Therefore, Ishvara is not the cause. It is not possible for any object not to arise, not to exist, and not to perish, because this contradicts direct perception, therefore this is also an unestablished point. All who claim that there is no more reliable valid cognition than direct perception know this. Being alone and without purpose, for one without love and great compassion, profound qualities and views, conduct, thoughts, etc., are unreasonable. Being alone, whether related to action or not, the very thought of profound qualities or objects such as form is unreasonable, therefore this is inconsistent. If the cause is not universally present, then how can it be a condition? If it is not a cause, there is no agent, then how does the great Ishvara exercise power? Ishvara is the agent of things, but if he is not considered the agent, then it is like a son being born without a father, which is undesirable and unseen. Those who speak of reason consider the cause and similar causes to be the same. From the permanent arises the permanence of the result, and from the impermanent also arises impermanence. From the seed of rice arises the fruit, and the sprout of karma is seen to grow. Similarly, if the great Ishvara is permanent, then things will always arise. Just like fire
