is death. Desire can also be destroyed by remembrance. The tree that arises from conceptual thought, fanned by the wind of desire, poured with the oil of attachment and so on, is fiercely burned by fire, making beings weary. Fire is the ultimate burner, and even if it is not attached, it is very sharp, but it does not make people weary. The desire that arises now, especially when it has faults, to live happily without ignorance, that is called steadfast. Who would be happy with the water moon that is moved by the strong waves of the wind, that is very swaying, and that is meaningless like foam? After conceptual thought arises, there is desire, and then hatred arises intensely. Hatred and anger cause people, and then they go to hell. Therefore, on a pleasant mountain, in a place with various trees, rely on and meditate with certainty, which is the source of the arising of desire. Certainly, the first maker of all these faults is ignorance. Therefore, ignorance should be destroyed, and its nature should be analyzed. This is the eleventh chapter of Entering the Way of the Bodhisattva, which speaks of the faults of desire. All the sufferings of samsara are increased by craving. Therefore, those who wish to pacify suffering should destroy craving with wisdom. Compared to the fire of hell, the fire of craving is even more difficult to endure. Body, speech, and mind certainly create craving, but the fire of hell is not like that. Following the three realms, the three karmas without beginning, arise uninterruptedly in the three times, and without craving is called other. The heavens are burned by the fire of desire, animals are burned by hatred, the fire of delusion burns the evil realms, and the fire of craving burns everything. The smoke of the fire of pride and stinginess arises from the tree of universal discrimination. The fire of desire burns the world, but the fire that arises from trees is not like that. Those who are seized by the serpent of desire cannot be revived. By relying on and meditating on desire, it will grow again. Just as fire gets fuel, it will grow, and similarly, when the fire of desire grows, it cannot be stopped. The world of four wheels is confused by desire.

Completely deceived! In the beginningless, undefiled world, there is no enemy like desire. People driven by desire enter the fierce ocean. The battlefield with hidden weapons is entered deeply! Desire causes even rulers to kill each other, brothers with brothers together, fathers and sons also kill each other. Where does the deer, struck by a poisonous arrow, chase after? The poison goes there, likewise the poison of craving is like that. Suffering sentient beings run to what sentient beings enjoy, hell in hell itself, now greatly driven by desire! The happiness of the gods is enjoyed for a long time, the gods who have enjoyed it are drawn from the heavenly realms by the rope of craving, and fall back into hell! The Guru, the Three Jewels, as well as the possessions of the virtuous and chaste women, the twice-born, etc., and the possessions of the poor, the desirous will also plunder. All beings are without compassion, doing all evil deeds. They leave, abandoning their wealth, and after death follow along with their sins. Thereafter, unpleasant sufferings such as hell will arise. The fierce, without protection, that karma will be experienced. The realm of desire is definitely liberated, the embers of attachment are completely extinguished, those who equate stones and jewels will find happiness in Nirvana. The wise use the water of wisdom to diligently extinguish the fire of desire. For those who have not extinguished desire, Nirvana is very far away. Momentary joy is difficult to know, it is the same as having no fruition. Those who desire the bliss of Nirvana, therefore, must definitely extinguish desire. Liberated from the rope of craving, abandoning attachment and hatred, free from the stain of sin, the wise are free from sorrow. This is the twelfth chapter on the faults of desire from Entering the Path of the Conquerors. Women are the root of falling into evil destinies, and exhaust wealth in all places. Impure people who listen to women's words fill gatherings with laughter. Women are attached to meaningless things, are cunning and stingy, destroy in both worlds, and are close to men. Gestures and words arising from attachment, gently and intoxicatingly looking, that
