Whether Buddhas have arisen or not, things exist, all things are empty, highly praised as other things. The true limit and suchness, whatever other thing is empty, from the way of the Perfection of Wisdom, those virtues are highly praised. This is the seventeenth chapter of Entering the Way of the Bodhisattva, which speaks of selflessness. Without beginning and with afflictions, the aggregates of conditioned nature, in the wheel of existence without beginning, constantly revolve completely. The glorious and brave friend, as said in the Treasury of Abhidharma, selflessness is only aggregates, accumulated by afflictions and karma, the continuum of the intermediate existence, like a lamp, thus enters the womb. As thrown, the sequence continues gradually, after birth, by karma and afflictions, goes to other worlds, the wheel of existence has no beginning. That is the law of dependent origination, twelve branches in three parts. Two each in the beginning and the end, eight in the middle are all complete, in the past, affliction is ignorance, action is of past karma, consciousness is the connection of the aggregate nature, name and form arise from then on, the six sense bases grow up to here. That is up to the three times, the touch of suffering and happiness, etc., the ability to know the cause is up to here, feeling love up to existence, enjoying desire, the near taking of enjoyments, running around to obtain them, that existence is the fruit to be born, whatever action is done is existence, the nature of connection is birth, between feeling is old age and death. This is considered a temporary interval, and the branches are declared for the sake of the main thing, between the beginning and the end, to eliminate ignorance. Two of the three afflictions, four and seven are thus the fruit, the two summarize cause and effect, after inferring from the middle, from affliction arises affliction, action is that which gives rise to four, from that arises four and affliction, this is the way of the branches of existence. This is the eighteenth chapter of Entering the Way of the Bodhisattva, which speaks of the wheel of dependent origination. The four noble truths are, suffering and its origin,

Just as the origin of suffering, the cessation of this suffering, and the path that leads to the cessation of suffering, these truths are each determined to have four aspects. Those who desire liberation should meditate on what is taught with diligence. The truth of suffering is impermanence, suffering, emptiness, and selflessness. The cause is the cause and the origin, as well as arising and condition. Cessation is cessation and peace, excellence and liberation. The path is the path and the reason, practice and deliverance. Thus, to abandon afflictions, one should meditate on the Four Noble Truths. Because it is produced by cause and condition, it is impermanent, arising and ceasing. Because suffering is incompatible, contaminated things are selfless and do not possess self. The analyzed dharma is emptiness. These four aspects should always be known by those who desire liberation. The aggregates of suffering in samsara give rise to the habit of joy. There is attachment to joy and it is fully possessed. It is existence and the maker of existence. By constantly meditating on the true path, this should be destroyed with diligence. Because the cause is the dharma of the seed, it is the root of disease and suffering. Because suffering truly arises, one should know the origin of suffering. The suffering that is suddenly experienced is called the result. Arising is the connection and combination, that is the cause of the pain of suffering, it should be said, the meaning is, the condition is the river of bondage. The cause of increase is the afflictions, the combination of separation is cessation. Because it is separated from the aggregate of suffering, it is called peace. Afflictions and suffering are separated, virtue and happiness are excellent, liberation is selflessness, benefit and happiness increase accordingly. Also, because ignorance is eliminated, it is the nature of cessation. Peace is the true cessation of suffering, excellence is only happiness. Liberation is emptiness, etc., the characteristic of the happiness of liberation. Because it is empty of purity and self, the nature is emptiness. The causes of all conditioned phenomena are peaceful and without characteristics. The desireless three realms are the cessation of all desires. Actions are manifestly accumulated, unreal manifestly.
