The king will say to the monks, "Because the Dharma is declining, you do not know, The Dharma will disappear, and everyone, Will wear gray monastic robes." Having said, "Alas! Buddha!" He will fall from his seat, And roll around on the ground. The Buddha's teachings will be completely ruined. Everyone's hair and beards, Will grow long, and all the Dharma will decline. At that time, in the sky and on the ground, Great sounds will arise. Water, mountains, and the earth, Will become extremely harsh And fall. From the cities, like blowing bubbles, The sacred Dharma will fall to the ground. In all the desire realms, The roots, leaves, bark, Flowers, and colors will completely disappear, And pure places will also be abandoned. The three splendors and the seven essences, Will completely disappear. Liberation, treatises, and virtuous, Actions will completely decline. The growth of flowers, fruits, and essences, Will become scarce and no longer delicious. At that time, water and lakes, Wells and springs will dry up. On the ground, barren lands, temple ruins, salt flats, And ravines will appear. All the mountains will dry up, And it will never rain again. The ten non-virtuous dharmas and diseases will increase. For parents, beast-like thoughts will all arise. The life, color, radiance, strength, and happiness of sentient beings will decline. Everything will fall into the lower realms, and there will be separation from gods and humans. When these royal families commit evil, everything will fall into the lower realms, and there will be separation from gods and humans. When such royal families and evil monks appear, all the true Dharma will be destroyed, and gods and humans will decline. For these sentient beings, your compassion will not arise. In unpleasant times, from this world, those who renounce will depart. Just as the previous victors did, I will also allocate in the future. Establishing life for the sake of meaning, straightening the three radiances. One-third of my life will also be given for the sake of sentient beings. In the future, when the true Dharma is burning, purify gods and humans. Just like the previous Buddhas, on the seventh day, when the true Dharma disappears, they give up their lives and their own lives. After I pass into nirvana, for a thousand years my teachings will remain. The afflictions of my sentient beings will also be exhausted. Bodhisattvas who are diligent will perfect the six paramitas. In the city of stainless peace, diligent yogis will enter. After a thousand years have passed, the image of the true Dharma will appear, and when two hundred years are complete, people with round heads and wearing kasayas will always be complete and worshipped by gods and humans. Whoever makes offerings to them is making offerings to me. Some people shave their heads, wear kasayas, and seek refuge for my sake, those will be called my sons. Even if the precepts are broken, they will abide without turning back. Whoever strikes them is burning my body. Reproaching and scolding is also reproaching me. In order to cut off the tradition of the Dharma, burning and destroying.
