It will become like that. There, whatever crops ripen, whether enjoyed by humans or non-humans, or even those belonging to the animal realm, will become ugly in color, unworthy of being seen and inferior, ugly in color and slender in body, remaining only as sinews, short-lived and unable to live long. Among those people, whoever is more hateful and deeply sinful will be respected, served, and offered to. Because the sacred Dharma has declined, beings with majesty will decrease and decline. There, the king will don the armor of the fourfold army and fight against the wealth of the enemy, the lands of the enemy, and the throne of the enemy. There, going together with the fourfold army, those who, like that, with hateful minds and minds seeking survival, with the roots of virtue completely decayed, engaging in what does not benefit themselves or others, will become gatherings of elephants and gatherings of elephants together, and so on, gatherings of horses and gatherings of horses together, and so on, gatherings of infantry and gatherings of infantry together. There, when they are gathered, they will become more and more gathered. Rivers of blood will flow. Whatever living beings there are, those who are on the battlefield, full of joy, greatly satisfied, with hearts happy and content. Addicted to hell, the lord of hell will bind them with iron chains and carry them from their own country to the enemy's country. Those people will also die on the way, or die after arriving in the enemy's country. For those who practice non-Dharma, how can one expect rain and crops to grow? Those people will die with hateful minds, die under the threat of hunger, and most will fall into the three lower realms, the human world will be destroyed, and the heavenly realms will also be destroyed. Light Guardian, in that case, beings will be completely destroyed. So, how will the throne be completely destroyed? What is the essence of the complete destruction of the throne? Light Guardian,

Kings and thieves, as well as fires, famines, floods, humans, and non-humans, will utterly destroy the kingdom's governance. Mountains and monasteries will appear in great numbers. In this Jambudvipa, unevenness, stumps, and thorny thickets, as well as frivolity and sentient beings indulging in hell, and sights that are not suitable to behold, and roads where people do not travel will appear. Lands that are difficult to conquer by others will arise. Filled with doubt and filled with fear, as well as hair standing on end, and all sentient beings will universally experience fear. At that time of Kashyapa (འོད་སྲུངས།), in this Jambudvipa, in towns, cities, villages, regions, and royal palaces, delightful gardens, or delightful ponds, or delightful forests, or delightful pools, or delightful scenes will become scarce. Those will also become diminished in splendor and reduced in radiance. When those have diminished in splendor, their radiance has been taken away, and their light has become weak, the delightful gardens that exist in towns, cities, villages, and royal palaces, up to the delightful scenes, whatever exists, will also have their power diminished, their splendor lessened, and be devoid of radiance. When the glory and radiance of their bodies have vanished, the sentient beings who dwell there will become morally corrupt, ignorant of actions, harsh, vulgar, with scattered speech, diminished memory, and without mindfulness. Without loving-kindness, strife, and disputes, those will not last long and will face death. After death, most will fall into the great hells. At that time, the great hells will become like kings. Why is that? Because those who do not understand what has been done, and those who do not repay kindness for what has been done, will fill the entire world. The actions and accumulations of those will mostly lead to falling into the great hells. Thus spoke the Blessed One. In the Sutra Requested by King Udayana, it is also said: Blessed One, what kind of beings are those who cause the teachings of the Tathagata to decline?

Having thus entreated, the Blessed One spoke to the venerable Yūākārakṣa (Possessing Life, Protector of the Country), saying: Protector of the Country, these two places are spoken of by the Blessed One. What are the two? Namely, the dwelling place of a monk and the dwelling place of indolence. Among them, the dwelling place of a monk is whatever side possesses morality. The dwelling place of indolence is whatever side violates morality. Having spoken thus. Among them, who is the one who pretends to be a monk? Protector of the Country, here, a monk considers himself to be 'I,' but he is one who does not possess the complete aggregate of morality. He cherishes religious robes, cherishes alms bowls, cherishes possessions. He abandons non-speaking and takes as his own the bedding, seats, and great offerings that lead to bad destinies. He associates with women, associates with nuns, associates with those respected by kings. Having associated with them, he constantly perceives forms with his eyes. Having generated thoughts in this way, he becomes completely defiled. If he possesses a completely defiled mind, then there is such a dwelling place, where he either commits a heavy offense or commits a small offense and remains. Protector of the Country, this is one who pretends to be a monk. Protector of the Country, why is he called one who pretends to be a monk? He pretends to be a monk, and the bedding and seats given by the Tathagata, whatever bedding and seats are where the ascetic dwells, that foolish person abandons them, clings to religious robes, clings to possessions, associates with women, and associates with householders. Having associated with them, does that foolish person have the conduct of a monk? Moreover, he also reviles and scolds the profound Dharma, and even if he hears it, he does not praise it. He also speaks of non-praises of solitary places. He only praises whatever desires greatly please his mind, and he only praises whatever jokes greatly please his mind, but he does not praise any dwelling place of ascetics.
