Wind. The three winds will be disturbed. Because non-Dharma people are in control, the essence of the sacred Dharma is like the marrow of a corpse. The radiance of sentient beings and the essence of the earth, the three things will be destroyed. Extremely honoring evil people, and disparaging sacred people, death, verbal abuse, and famine, these three will occur there. Thus it was said. Also in the Sutra of the Essence of the Earth, the Bhagavan spoke thus to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Essence of the Earth: "Son of good family, in the future, in the age to come, the sentient beings in this Buddha-field will be tormented by afflictions and commit sins, and children will be ignorant and difficult to tame. Those of the evil kingly caste, those of the evil minister caste, those of the evil householder caste, those of the evil merchant caste, those of the evil renunciate caste, those of the evil Brahmin caste, and so forth, will have small roots of virtue, no faith, live by deceit and cunning, be ignorant and arrogant in knowledge, abandon virtuous friends, speak untruthful words, not rely on the teachings of virtuous friends, be contemptuous and domineering, slander with evil words, doubt the true Dharma and have wrong views, not fear the suffering results of the next world, always delight in associating with those of evil conduct, delight in engaging in actions from killing to wrong views, deceive the world with deceit and cunning, and cause harm to themselves and others, from the evil kingly caste to the evil Brahmin caste. They will destroy my Dharma. Even if they renounce in my teachings, they will break their vows and be happy to engage in worldly affairs. The kingly caste and Brahmins and others will serve them with reverence and offerings, be greedy for profit, speak empty words for the sake of money, and their actions will not be consistent. They will delight in sending letters to each other, engage in trade and profit, study worldly heterodox learning, delight in the affairs of plowing fields, hide treasures and other things, protect houses, wives, sons and daughters, use worldly mantras and mudras to control spirits, observe good and bad omens, and mix medicines.

And they live by the wealth of healing diseases, and are attached to food, drink, clothing, and precious ornaments, and are fond of doing household work, and break their vows and practice evil deeds, and have the behavior of dogs towards the sound of conch shells, and claim to be monks when they are not monks, and claim to be celibate when they are not celibate. From the outcaste kings to the outcaste Brahmins, they honor and serve them, and offer them with respect and courtesy, and listen to their words. Those who have broken their vows, from the outcaste kings to the outcaste Brahmins, are also happy to rely on them, and honor and serve them, and listen to their words. If someone renounces in my teachings and possesses vows and virtues, and diligently practices the teachings and non-teachings, until they reach the ultimate fruition, then from the outcaste kings to the outcaste Brahmins, they will be jealous of them, and will not honor, serve, respect, or make offerings to them, nor will they listen to their words again. Son of good family, it is like a person who goes to a treasure island and abandons precious indranīla (藏文:ཨིནྡྲ་ནཱི་ལ་,梵文天城体:इन्द्रनील,梵文罗马拟音:indranīla,汉语字面意思:因陀罗青), mahānīla (藏文:མ་ཧཱ་ནཱི་ལ་,梵文天城体:महानील,梵文罗马拟音:mahānīla,汉语字面意思:大青), gold, silver, pearls, padmarāga (藏文:པདྨ་རཱ་ག་,梵文天城体:पद्मराग,梵文罗马拟音:padmarāga,汉语字面意思:莲花红), vaiḍūrya (藏文:བཻཌཱུཪྻ་,梵文天城体:वैडूर्य,梵文罗马拟音:vaiḍūrya,汉语字面意思:吠琉璃), and various kinds of priceless jewels, and instead takes pebbles. Similarly, in the future, in this Buddha-field, from the outcaste kings to the outcaste Brahmins, it will be the same. They will go to the treasure island of the sacred Dharma that I have taught, and abandon those who are rich in vows and virtues, who delight in the ultimate truth, who possess shame and modesty, who are learners and non-learners, and who are diligent in practicing the six perfections, ordinary beings who possess virtuous qualities, and forsake the noble assembly, and instead associate with those who have broken their vows, who practice many evil deeds, who are shameless, who are immodest, whose words are harsh and coarse, who are arrogant and conceited in body and mind, who are separated from pure Dharma, who have no loving-kindness, who have no compassion, evil monks.
