Until then, I will abstain from killing. I have taken refuge in the Blessed One. The Blessed One said: Good son, well done, well done! Because you have taken refuge in me with superior intention, all your evil destinies will be completely exhausted. After dying from here, you will obtain a human body when Maitreya appears, and you will become a monk in front of Maitreya, and you will realize the state of Arhat. At that time, at that time, do not think that the king Flowerless, who offered all the necessities to the Crested One and his retinue for three months, and built a Sangha garden with all the necessities for the Sangha, is another person, he is the Naga King Sea. For thirty-one kalpas after this, he was never born in the lower realms. He will experience the glory of the gods and the perfection of good fortune, which are extremely vast. He was born among the Nagas here by the power of his aspiration for the sake of the unsurpassed Great Vehicle, and here he experiences such glory and good fortune. Having heard this, all the Nagas were saddened and extremely displeased. They developed great respect for the Blessed One and cherished him through closeness. Again, in that same sutra, the Blessed One said: It is better to cut off one's own limbs with sharp knives than to give away what has been offered to laypeople. It is better to swallow burning iron balls than to consume the property of the Sangha. It is better to lift up and swallow flames burning like a mountain king than for a householder to enjoy the property of the Sangha. It is better to set everything on fire and lift it up on bright firewood than for a householder to enjoy the property of the Sangha. It is better to enter a house filled with impure fire than for a householder to spend the night in the dwelling of the Sangha. It is better to pick up burning iron balls than for a renunciant to enjoy the property of a householder.

It should not be taken. It is better to have my body cut all over by sharp wheels. One should not generate arrogance and scolding towards the well-spoken Dharma. One who possesses the well-spoken Dharma, it is better to pluck out one's own eyes. For those who are counted as sentient beings, do not command beings out of anger. One who possesses the well-spoken Dharma, it is better to wear clothes of fire. Do not take clothes from householders with pretense and power. It is better to drink rough, altered water boiled like fire. A renunciate should not obtain food and drink through deception. Thus it was said. In the Sutra of Akashagarbha, it is also said that at that time, the King of Gods, the King of Nagas, the King of Yakshas, the King of Asuras, the King of Garudas, the King of Kinnaras, the King of the Great Belly-goers, the King of Kumbhandas, the King of Pretas, the King of Rakshasas, and all of you who walk on the earth and walk in the sky, I will completely entrust this Dharma teaching to you. Now and in the future, for those who keep the meaning in mind, abide in the Dharma, practice the Dharma that is in accordance with the Dharma, practice the Dharma that is in accordance with the Dharma, and especially delight in solitary places, protect them! Completely protect them! Also protect those donors and patrons! Completely protect them! Also protect those who hold and completely protect their implements! Completely protect them! This will bring you long-term benefit and happiness. Then, from the King of Gods to all the Kings of Rakshasas, and all beings who walk in the sky and walk on the earth, all spoke with one voice, saying: Venerable Bhagavan, it is so! Venerable Sugata, it is so! In the future, as long as the light of the Dharma blessed by the Tathagata continues to shine, we will abandon our own duties and protect the Vinaya taught by the Tathagata. We will completely protect it. For practitioners who abide in the Dharma, possess discipline, are endowed with qualities, have no attachment, especially delight in solitary places,

After that, for those who enter the Dharma in accordance, we will protect them with Dharma robes, food, bedding, and the necessities of medicine for illness. We will completely protect them. By abiding in contact with health, strength, and happiness, we will accomplish what is in accordance with the virtuous path. As long as they completely practice the precepts established by the Buddha, engage in diligence, remain utterly secluded, with mindfulness well established, and do not associate with all attachments, monasteries, houses, fields, male servants, female servants, wealth, grain, fame, gain, respect, excellent verses, hypocrisy, flattery, and partiality, until then, we will avert from the evil Yakshas to the evil decaying bodies. We will generate faith in them in the teachings well taught by the Sugata. As long as they correctly pass the months, days, planets, stars, days, nights, years, and seasons, until then, we will completely pacify fighting, disputes, battles, diseases, enemy armies, famine, deception, fraud, false speech, and untimely winds and rains. We will avert all the royal families, Brahmins, Vaishyas, Shudras, men, women, boys, and girls from all non-virtuous dharmas. We will combine all virtuous actions. We will place those who abide in the Dharma, who are generous, disciplined, rightly restrained, endowed with morality, and rich in qualities, in the conduct practiced by them. As long as the Shravakas of the Bhagavan do not cling to all hopes and are exceedingly delighted by the thought of the Dharma, until then, we will protect those cities, towns, valleys, villages, and regions, as well as those donors and patrons. We will completely protect them. Wealth, grain, joy, play, health, and mutual
