And the daughters said, "Whoever is not a virtuous friend is evil." Therefore, whoever becomes a friend of evil is not a virtuous friend. They said that. They said to those people, "You are wise to know that way. Whoever is an evil friend is not a virtuous friend." Therefore, whatever says to you, "No self (Tibetan: བདག་མེད།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अनात्म, Sanskrit Romanization: anātma, Chinese literal meaning: no self), no sentient being (Tibetan: སེམས་ཅན་མེད།, Sanskrit Devanagari: असत्त्व, Sanskrit Romanization: asattva, Chinese literal meaning: no sentient being), no life (Tibetan: སྲོག་མེད།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अजीव, Sanskrit Romanization: ajīva, Chinese literal meaning: no life), no person (Tibetan: གང་ཟག་མེད།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अपुद्गल, Sanskrit Romanization: apudgala, Chinese literal meaning: no person)," do not rely on it, do not associate with it, do not respect it. After saying that, each of those monks, for half a month, made five hundred households give up their faith. Shariputra, after that, the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha, and the Shravaka monks with perfect vision, the Arhats who had removed defilements and afflictions, went into the city, and the women, men, boys, and girls scolded and said unpleasant things, and cursed with harsh and rude words, and said in verses like this: You are lost on the path, you are not the ones who know the Dharma. Because you have fallen away from the Dharma, all sentient beings will go to hell. In this way, those monks scolded and spoke unpleasant words in the voice of verses. Praising the Buddha himself, and again saying in verses: All conditioned things are impermanent, all dharmas have no self, there is no permanence, no steadfastness, the Buddha thus proclaimed the Dharma. Empty, hollow, and void, all conditioned things have no essence, they are false, deceptive, and always delude children. The Tathagata taught the Dharma of no self (Tibetan: བདག་མེད།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अनात्म, Sanskrit Romanization: anātma, Chinese literal meaning: no self), no sentient being (Tibetan: སེམས་ཅན་མེད།, Sanskrit Devanagari: असत्त्व, Sanskrit Romanization: asattva, Chinese literal meaning: no sentient being), no life (Tibetan: སྲོག་མེད།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अजीव, Sanskrit Romanization: ajīva, Chinese literal meaning: no life), no person (Tibetan: གང་ཟག་མེད།, Sanskrit Devanagari: अपुद्गल, Sanskrit Romanization: apudgala, Chinese literal meaning: no person). Saying in verses: Those who are without self, giving, eating, taking, experiencing great feelings, speaking, and going to evil destinies. To this, Sharadvatiputra, all the sons who were born, and the women, boys, and girls, acted according to the words of non-great men, and from those people, sixty-one hundred thousand beings, after dying from there, were born in the great hell of Avici. There, the shape of their bodies was like this: appearing like fish, the head is

For example, like this, it became like a human being. The tongue manifested in this way, like a large liquor store, those tongues were deeply plowed by many iron plows. Each of those bodies was also tormented by hundreds of short knots. From the space above, burning iron hailstones were everywhere, burning intensely, spreading and burning everywhere, accompanied by burning, becoming one burning, falling upon the body. Then, the Bhagavan spoke these verses: Arrows of intensely burning electric tongues, hundreds and thousands of countless ones, always intensely burn the body, those who experience suffering. All bodies are burning everywhere, flames burning are difficult to approach, filled with a hundred yojanas, flames intensely arise on the body. On each of their tongues, they are plowed by so many plows. Because all tongues are torn, they experience the feeling of suffering. Because they have associated with evil friends, those will happen later. Because they have completely abandoned those with discipline, they quickly fall into the lower realms. Also, Shariputra, those six who are not noble beings, after dying from there, were born in the great hell of Avici, each of those bodies manifested as a hundred yojanas, and a thousand mouths manifested on each body. In each mouth, two tongues manifested, about four yojanas wide, and five hundred plows manifested on each tongue, plowing with iron hailstones and iron plows, those tongues were ruined, and they could not even say "Ah." On each of their heads, there were also millions of hell guardians stationed, cutting off the untamed. Then the lifespan of each of them became millions of years. Similarly, in other great hells, they also experienced various kinds of feelings. Why is that? Because they spoke without praising the Buddha's teachings. Abandoning harming Bodhisattvas and their friends.

Instructions on the Mind of Bodhi. The Sutra Requested by Brahma also states: "One should abide in the Buddha-field with ten superior intentions. What are the ten? They are: having a mind without anger towards those who speak well and those who speak badly; having a mind of loving-kindness towards those who hear well and those who hear badly; always having a compassionate heart; properly connecting with inferior, intermediate, and superior sentient beings; having an equal mind towards respect and contempt; not regarding all faults and downfalls of others as flaws; regarding various vehicles as having one taste; not being afraid of the sounds of all the sufferings of the lower realms; having the perception of all Bodhisattvas as teachers; and having a wondrous perception of the Buddha-field of the five degenerations. Brahma, with these ten superior intentions, one should abide in the Buddha-field." The Maitreya Lion's Roar Sutra also states: "Maitreya Bodhisattva should stay five hundred yojanas away from these four things. What are the four? They are: gain, respect, praise, evil friends, and places of commotion. If one abides in a place where another person of the Bodhisattva vehicle also abides, and if together with that person, contentment, joy, and supreme joy arise, and if one possesses non-contention and non-dispute, then one should abide there. If even a single thought of hatred or anger arises towards that person, then one should stay five hundred yojanas away from that place. A Bodhisattva should not generate hatred or anger towards another Bodhisattva. Maitreya Bodhisattva, in the realm of the three thousand great thousand worlds, if all the sentient beings gathered as sentient beings are all reviled, beaten, struck with sticks, or wounded with weapons, Maitreya, what do you think? Would that Bodhisattva, by reviling, beating, striking with sticks, or wounding with weapons so many sentient beings, generate much sin, slander, and decline from that basis?" Maitreya replied: "Bhagavan,
