The perfect accomplishment is giving the gift of bathing, and the ripening is the attainment of remembering past lives. 也是为了圆满成就,布施乃是完全舍弃所有财产的布施。比丘们,智者们以这三十七种方式行布施,如是说。关于布施的相违品,经中也说:舍利子,此外,菩萨应极力避免智者所呵斥的这些布施,即:非时布施,不适宜布施,酒的布施,毒药的布施,有害的布施,后悔的布施,武器的布施,抢夺的布施,轻蔑的布施,非亲手布施,背离的布施,依赖欲望的布施,不和合的布施,非圣洁的布施,被呵斥的布施,与毒药混合的布施,各自有害的布施,求得的布施,为了恒常生起恐惧而布施,使菩提完全退失的布施,死亡的绳索的布施,愚痴的布施, 为了侍奉而布施,以及恐惧的布施。舍利子,对于智者所呵斥的那些布施,无论在任何情况下都不应行持,更不应特别行持。如果菩萨在任何情况下都行持,并且特别行持那些布施,那就不应被称为菩萨。如果菩萨具备菩萨的功德,但却从布施中退失,那就没有菩萨的功德了。舍利子,菩萨从在家中出家,精进于菩提之支,应如何行布施呢?如先前所说的那样行布施,如是说。于《不可思议智慧经》中也说:此外,尊者舍利子,菩萨们没有为了生起恐惧而寻求受用的布施,没有损害有情的布施,没有生起我慢而布施,没有恐惧和害怕以及

Also, for the sake of perfect accomplishment, giving is the giving of completely relinquishing all possessions. Monks, the wise give with these thirty-seven methods, so it is said. Regarding the opposing aspects of giving, it is also said in the Sutra of Truthful Aspects: Shariputra, furthermore, Bodhisattvas should diligently avoid these blameworthy givings of the wise, namely: untimely giving, unsuitable giving, giving of alcohol, giving of poison, harmful giving, regretful giving, giving of weapons, giving of robbery, contemptuous giving, giving not by one's own hand, giving with one's back turned, giving based on desire, discordant giving, unholy giving, blameworthy giving, giving mixed with poison, giving that is individually harmful, giving obtained, giving for the sake of constantly generating fear, giving that completely diminishes Bodhi, giving of the noose of death, giving of ignorance, giving for the sake of service, and giving of fear. Shariputra, for those givings that are blameworthy by the wise, one should not engage in them in any way, and especially not engage in them. If a Bodhisattva engages in all ways and especially engages in those givings, then he should not be called a Bodhisattva.
