Claiming to be practitioners, lacking wisdom, and not possessing learning, like children, they contemplate other constellations, the twenty-eight worldly constellations, and constellations with flaws. They do not contemplate the twenty-eight supramundane constellations, which, when contemplated, can be truly discerned, thereby entering the city of Nirvana. What are these constellations? They are like the five aggregates, the five aggregates of clinging, and the eighteen realms. By truly contemplating them with detachment, elimination, taming, and subduing, one can attain Nirvana. Bhikshus, one cannot attain Nirvana by contemplating constellations. Furthermore, evil practitioners who claim to be practitioners, their calculations are meaningless and cannot lead to Nirvana from samsara. They sequentially count the twelve months, but they do not count the twelve sources that bring true discipline, understanding of true meaning, and detachment, which are what lead to Nirvana. Evil practitioners who claim to be practitioners do not count these, but contemplate the afflicted actions of others. Furthermore, evil practitioners who claim to be practitioners, the evil things they contemplate do not liberate them from sickness, old age, and death. They sequentially count the six worldly, afflicted, and aggressive seasons, but they do not contemplate the thirty-six components of the body, which, only through truly discerning and abandoning them, can lead to the attainment of Nirvana. Furthermore, evil practitioners who claim to be practitioners contemplate worldly seasons determined by time, such as "a certain season is good, a certain season is bad, this event will occur in this season, this event will not occur in this season." Such essential contemplations do not bring good, nor do they bring happiness, nor do they bring Nirvana, nor do they bring the ultimate end of Nirvana. They contemplate the characteristics and objects of the mind, including good, non-good, and neutral.

Thinking about the timing of the teachings, properly directing the mind, the occasion when a virtuous thought arises is good, for I will go to a good rebirth, or I will go to nirvana. For me, an unwholesome thought, an unwholesome all-pervasive afflicted thought arises, that is not happiness for me, it is not good, it will not lead to a good rebirth. Regarding the arising of an unspecified thought, its maturation is only unspecified, do not think like that. Furthermore, a bad renunciate who claims to be a renunciate thinks about the objects of worldly paths, moments, instants, fractions, days, months, and half-months. However, my life's activities, moments, instants, fractions, days, months, and half-months are exhausted, and the time of death is powerful and irreversible. He does not think about the time when the life activities of beings and non-beings, with good and bad consequences, are exhausted. Furthermore, thinking about the constellations of worldly all-pervasive afflictions, he thinks about obstructing meditation and reading. He practices, he meditates, he practices many times, he diligently practices, he abides. Thus, a constellation called so-and-so is seized and harmed by a planet called so-and-so, he teaches others like this. The thought of a bad person thinking like this will not liberate from sickness, sorrow, lamentation, suffering, and displeasure. Samsara and nirvana, just as constellation-like phenomena are suppressed by planet-like phenomena, that is to say, the constellation of birth is oppressed by the planet of death. The constellation of the heavenly realm is oppressed by the planet of death and rebirth. The constellation of perfection is oppressed by the planet of decline. The constellation of meeting with friends is oppressed by the planet of separation from friends. The constellation of non-birth is oppressed by the planet of complete seeking. Feeling the pleasure of

Stars are oppressed by the stars of painful feelings. The stars of virtuous thoughts are oppressed by the stars of non-virtuous thoughts. The stars of unpleasantness are oppressed by the stars of desire. The stars of loving-kindness are oppressed by the stars of hatred. The stars of wisdom are oppressed by the stars of ignorance, so one should think. Evil ascetics who claim to be ascetics do not think of their own minds as being beyond the world, but think of the minds of others. Thinking about the world and what is beyond the world as described, and then examining each with truthfulness as before, and by properly directing the mind, meditating on the stars as described, as before. Thinking about the stars and constellations by examining them individually with the eight branches of the path of peace, as they truly are, is for the sake of liberation from suffering, for the sake of happiness and peace, it will bring results, but not by thinking about those ordinary worldly stars and constellations. Thinking destroys hundreds and thousands of people, Beings will be reborn in hell, as hungry ghosts, and as animals. Because worldly people accomplish samsara, they will generate desire, hatred, and ignorance. Countless yogis who practice the path beyond the world, thinking about those stars and constellations, examining them individually as they truly are, will attain the state of being free from old age, death, sorrow, lamentation, suffering, and displeasure. For this state of permanence, without old age, without death, without outflows, which is nirvana, evil ascetics who claim to be ascetics must learn without fail. Because they do not want suffering, in order to exhaust the suffering of samsara, one should practice the contemplation of the stars and the contemplation of the body. Those ordinary people as described are not entirely afflicted. Whatever one knows, it will not bring lasting happiness, it will not bring virtue, it will not bring the ultimate of nirvana, but it will be an obstacle to the meditation and reading of monks.
