Like an enemy. Never give even a speck of trust. Because there is nowhere to stay, it is like thieves. Because the touch is unbearable, it is like a wound. Like an illusion, it is the essence of emptiness. Even if coal is washed with milk, It will never turn white. Even if cleaned and purified, The body will not abandon its nature. Therefore, this ownerless, Body like a revolving wheel, Arises from food and drink, etc. Examine it extensively and repeatedly. These are the mindfulness of the body. Through the power of such thorough meditation, The wandering of the body is completely pacified, The mindfulness of feelings is established, Meditate with steadfastness. From perverse attachment to this, There are three kinds of feelings: Pleasure, pain, and the other, Which is neither pleasure nor pain. In this, there is no feeler, And there is no object of feeling, This feeling that arises from interdependence, Is selfless. Like something real in the sky, If someone is attached to it, It is because of ignorance, Wishing to grasp the moon in the water. Likewise, tormented by suffering, If someone tries to eliminate and destroy it, It is because of ignorance, Wishing to kiss the image in the eye. Ignorant people think that what is neither pleasure, Nor pain is knowledge, Like touching an obstacle while walking, And presuming to have grasped something. Furthermore, all feelings, Are called samsara by other names, In the Sutra Compendium of True Dharma, The All-Knowing One himself said: "Acquisition and perversion, Proximity to the object and grasping, Inappropriate attention, Feeling is," he definitively declared. Thus, when suffering touches a Bodhisattva, Then, with compassion, focus on Beings afflicted by suffering. When the compassionate one Experiences the feeling of pleasure, Then, towards those tormented by attachment, His compassion arises even more strongly. When what is neither pleasure nor pain Is experienced by the son of the Victorious One, Then, towards those immersed in ignorance, His compassion increases even more. Some Bodhisattvas Appear to be born into the world, At that time, because there is no object,

It arises like an object of focus. Because it clings to characteristics, it is said to crave feelings themselves. When it no longer exists, that is called nirvana. These are the mindfulness of feelings. Thus, with reverence for feelings, cultivate mindfulness, and with effort follow it, cultivate mindfulness of the mind. With the perception of impurity as purity, the mind is like bees. Because it generates all suffering, it is also like a hateful enemy. For the initial moment of desire, perceiving it as pleasure, it is also like the tongue of a fish attached to a greasy bait. In order to find faults in others, it is also like a yaksha who steals radiance. In order to steal the wealth of virtue, it is also like a thief. The mind, in just a moment, is like lightning because it perishes. Because it arises dependent on conditions, it is like the continuity of a lamp's flame. The mind does not stay, so it is like the flow of a great river. Because it is obscured by sudden afflictions, the mind is like the sky. Thus, focusing on form, for forms, joy is like the eyes of a butterfly. Because it likes sound, the mind is like the manifested, a dragon to the pleasant E-na-ya. The mind, upon touching a container of ghee, is like bees attached because of liking it. Because it likes taste, for the leftovers of food, greed and attachment are like servants. Because it likes smell, for an impure corpse, running intensely is like piglets. Even so, when examined and analyzed, the mind cannot be found anywhere. The past mind has ceased, so it does not exist. The future mind does not exist because it has not been obtained. The mind that exists now is not bound and existing, in any way it is not an object of valid cognition. Even if the mind is sought with great effort, the past does not exist, nor does the present, nor does the future, thus, it is considered to be beyond the three times. That which is beyond the three times is neither existent nor non-existent. Thus, liberated from the two extremes, it is not the object of anyone's activity. The mind has no joy anywhere, nor is there any displeasure anywhere, like the sky, it is unborn.
