It should be remembered. Because there is no other reliance, the Blessed One personally served the sick, which was also experienced by the sick monk. As it is said in the Extensive Explanation of Monastic Conduct: The Blessed One said: Monk, do not be afraid! Monk, I will serve you. Monk, give me your clothes, I will wash them. After saying this, the venerable Ananda said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, do not wash the clothes of this sick monk that are stained with impurities. Blessed One, let me wash them. The Blessed One said: Ananda, therefore you wash the clothes of this monk. The Tathagata poured water. Then, the venerable Ananda washed the clothes of that sick monk. The Blessed One poured water. Coordinate like this. Then, the venerable Ananda very carefully lifted that sick monk, took him outside and washed him. The Blessed One poured water, just as he said. It is also said: Those who please will prosper, Those who displease will decline and be inauspicious, Those, even if they give up their lives, Should be made happy. Those who please will be many, Accomplishment is these sentient beings. Outside of sentient beings in the world, There is no other field of accomplishment. These are like wish-fulfilling jewels, Wish-fulfilling vases, wish-fulfilling cows, Like gurus and deities, Therefore, these should be made happy. Furthermore, for the unwavering friends, Those who perform immeasurable benefits, Other than making sentient beings happy, Who else can repay the kindness? The beings in the hair, Effort should be made to keep them from shaking, Like the protector of the past, Guarded them with his head. Because abandoning the body and falling into the Avici hell, For them, kindness can only be repaid with good deeds. Therefore, even if they cause great harm, All should be treated with goodness. For the time being, as my lords, Because they do not even care for their own bodies. For such lords, how can I Be arrogant and not do the work of a servant? Who can please the Buddhas with happiness, Who harms,
