That. Knowing the benefits of love like this, a wise Bodhisattva, in order to abandon all gains and respect, should abide in contentment with an excellent intention and rely on contentment, it is said. Having spoken about being fond of bustle: Abandoning desire, Having completely abandoned hatred, the yogi does not dwell in bustle, for he is devoted to it and inclines to it. Because of the fault, one will not be happy. Laughter and mirth, as well as conceptualization, all of these arise from bustle. Whoever engages in meaningless bustle, that one enjoys again and is not subdued. Children are fond of worldly talk, those children are deficient in the supreme talk. Hatred increases and the part of conceptualization is also great, because of the fault, one is not attached to it. Having generated fondness for speaking what is unreasonable, a monk's learning does not increase. Therefore, abandon unreasonable speech, and may you always attain joy in the Dharma. Because I desire to manifest enlightenment, I have given my limbs thousands of times. I am never satisfied with listening to the Dharma, but those become weary of listening to the Dharma. Unreasonable speech and non-holy speech, in every way, should be completely abandoned. In hundreds of thousands of eons, what is difficult to obtain, generate joy in that supreme Dharma. One who desires qualities and dwells in the forest should not examine the faults of others. "I am particularly superior and I am the best," one should not generate such thoughts. Pride is the root of all carelessness, one should not despise inferior monks. One will not attain liberation in one eon, this is the order in this teaching. Thus it was said. From that very text, having spoken about being fond of speaking: Being arrogant from learning, one does not become respectful, one is attached to discriminating speech. One will become forgetful and devoid of mindfulness, these are the faults of being fond of speaking. One becomes very distant from the inner mind, and the body and mind will not be well-trained. Arrogance and humility will become many, these are the faults of being fond of speaking. Children completely degenerate from contemplating the holy Dharma, the mind becomes inflexible and very coarse. Far away from calm abiding and special insight.

Ah! These are the faults of delighting in talking. Always without respect for the lamas, but generating joy in frivolous talk. Abiding in what is meaningless, wisdom declines. These are the faults of delighting in talking. That person is not respected by the assemblies of gods, and at that time desire will not arise for him either, that person declines from individual correct wisdom. These are the faults of delighting in talking. Those whose bodies are manifestly many, will be reproached by those wise ones. His life will become meaningless, these are the faults of delighting in talking. I have ruined my practice, what shall I do now? At the time of death, like a child, he grieves. If the profound meaning is not found, he will become extremely miserable. These are the faults of delighting in talking. Like grass moved by the wind, he sways and wavers, that person will certainly become doubtful. That person will never become steadfast in mind, these are the faults of delighting in talking. Just like a person sitting in a market of dancers and spectacles, while praising the virtues of other heroes, he himself declines from practice. These are the faults of delighting in talking. That person becomes cunning, frivolous, and loses hope, again and again he begins to scatter the fields, far away from the sacred Dharma of the noble ones. These are the faults of delighting in talking. A person of little power will be treated with contempt, an ignorant person becomes confused and changes. Like a monkey, his mind will waver. These are the faults of delighting in talking. Thus, combining them, because of delighting in talking for a long time, that person will not obtain his own happiness. A word that can obtain infinite happiness, even thinking of just one word is the best. The skin of the sugarcane has no essence, the taste that should be enjoyed is inside. By eating the skin, one cannot find the sweetness of the sugarcane. Just like the skin, talking is like that, like the taste, the meaning and mind are in it. Therefore, abandon delighting in talking, always be mindful, and contemplate the meaning. Thus it was said. Next, speaking of the faults of delighting in sleep: If someone delights in drowsiness and sleep, that person's net of ignorance will greatly increase. That person, having gained a view, will become doubtful, and for him, other views will also arise in abundance. If someone delights in drowsiness and sleep
