Having obtained this excellence. At that time, those Sugatas, whether they have passed into Nirvana or are still dwelling, whichever sentient beings hear the name of this Dharma, all of them will attain Bodhi. As it is said. Also in the Great Compassion Sutra, it says: For example, a fisherman holding a fishhook, in order to catch fish, puts the fishhook with bait into the great ocean, and after putting it in, the fish swallows the hook. Although the fish floats in the sea water due to illness, that strong thread is tied to a stake on the shore, which is said to be tethered. The fisherman comes to catch fish with the hook, and when he pulls the thread, he knows that the fish has been caught, so he pulls the thread and pulls the fish ashore, and rejoices and sings. Similarly, whichever sentient beings generate roots of virtue with faith in the Bhagavan, even if they generate a single thought of faith, even if those sentient beings are born in unfavorable circumstances due to the obscurations of evil deeds, the Buddhas, the Bhagavans, will seize those sentient beings with the thread of the wisdom of the Buddhas and the objects of gathering, and lead them out of the ocean of Samsara and place them on the shore of Nirvana. Thus it is said. Therefore, one should generate the perception of a teacher towards them. When prostrating to others, even if the other person is a novice, one should think that because they have generated the mind of Bodhi, they are worthy of prostration, and prostrate with the mind. For example, even though Net Cloud Bodhisattva is a great Bodhisattva, he touched the novice Arya Vasu with his whole body and prostrated to him, and also generating superior intention, etc., it is also said that one should prostrate to all individuals of the Bodhisattva vehicle. This is the definitive meaning. How can the one who prostrates and the one to whom prostration is made be unified without contradiction? Because they are mutually aimed at prostration. Because there is no practice, it will not become non-merit either. Are the Buddhas also like that? No, because it would become limitless and become inferior. In the Sutra of the Collection of All Aspects of Discrimination, harm is also mentioned: Manjushri, the karmic obscuration of abandoning the true Dharma is slight. Manjushri, for some, from the Dharma spoken by the Tathagata, some

If one considers some things to be bad, that is abandoning the true Dharma. By abandoning the true Dharma, one is slandering the Tathagata and disparaging the Sangha. If one says, "This is reasonable, this is not reasonable," that is abandoning the true Dharma. If I have not here separately taught different Dharmas as belonging to the Hearer Vehicle, the Solitary Buddha Vehicle, or the Great Vehicle, those foolish people will distinguish my Dharma, saying, "This is taught for the Hearers, this is taught for the Solitary Buddhas." They abandon the true Dharma with the notion of separation. If one says, "This is the training of a Bodhisattva, this is not the training of a Bodhisattva," that is abandoning the true Dharma. If one says that the speaker of Dharma has confidence, or does not have confidence, that is abandoning the true Dharma. If one says, "Dharma is not Dharma," that is abandoning the true Dharma. If one says that without the appearance of a Buddha there is no dharani, that is abandoning the true Dharma. If one says that the speaker of Dharma has not obtained dharani, that is abandoning the true Dharma. If one denigrates the conduct of the speaker of Dharma, that is abandoning the true Dharma. If one says that the practice of the speaker of Dharma is not perfect, that is abandoning the true Dharma. If one speaks carelessly, that is abandoning the true Dharma. If one speaks through conduct, that is abandoning the true Dharma. If one speaks through the deterioration of conduct and discipline, that is abandoning the true Dharma. If one says that one cannot understand with confidence, that is abandoning the true Dharma. If one says that the appearances of Dharmas have not been well explained, that is abandoning the true Dharma. If one makes words contradict each other because of not understanding, that is abandoning the true Dharma. If one says that one enters the teachings of the Tathagata by the name of letters, that is abandoning the true Dharma. If one says that Sutras contradict Sutras, that is abandoning the true Dharma. If one says that verses contradict verses, that is abandoning the true Dharma. If one says that one is satisfied with some meanings and not satisfied with others, that is abandoning the true Dharma. When teaching the Dharma, if one diverts to other topics, that is abandoning the true Dharma. If one does not agitate, that is abandoning the true Dharma. If one speaks with universal conceptualization, that is abandoning the true Dharma. If one says, "This should be practiced, this should not be practiced," that is abandoning the
