Like the Bodhisattva elephants, well-versed in abiding in the seven branches of enlightenment, thirty-six six-year-olds with lotus-like fur, faces pure and adorned with gold ornaments, bodies covered with golden nets, noses covered with various precious ornaments, adorned with arrangements, covered with gold, beautiful to behold, able to walk and travel a thousand yojanas without tiring, and giving them away. Horses that are easy to ride, comfortable in body, with perfect gait, able to travel in all four directions, possessing respectful speed, abundant food, and possessing all the incomparable ornaments of the gods, are also given away. When giving and bestowing these, with reverence, to all beings including lamas, virtuous friends, parents, the poor, the destitute, beggars, and recipients, from a mind of generous giving and a mind without attachment, with great compassion pervading all directions, performing immeasurable great giving, diligently cultivating the qualities of a Bodhisattva, and fully practicing and giving with a noble Bodhisattva mind. In this way, if one gives cushions to sentient beings, then a fine royal throne with legs of vaidurya, supported by lions, with a canopy of golden ropes and jeweled nets, spread with many soft silks, the surroundings made exceedingly fragrant by being熏染 with the essence of all kinds of incense, raising various banners of the king of jewels, decorated with hundreds of thousands of millions of jewels, hung with a canopy of golden nets, the sound of tinkling golden bells emanating a pleasing melody, surrounded on all sides by ten trillion precious grains, exquisitely divided, exceedingly excellent and beautiful to behold, watched by countless billions of creatures, empowered to rule the entire great earth with a single umbrella, becoming a seat possessing all the power of royal sovereignty. Adorned with a splendid arrangement, with jeweled handles, covered everywhere with nets of tinkling bells, becoming curved with strings of jewels, earrings, and necklaces, strings of jewels and lapis lazuli conspicuously hung, nearby arising joyful melodies and pleasing sounds, the interior made covered with pure golden nets, hundreds of thousands of jeweled pendants hanging, holding all the treasuries of precious jewels, Agarwood and sandalwood, and hundreds of thousands of billions of supreme incenses, the vicinity perfumed and fumigated with fragrant odors, shining and pure like gold from the Jambu River, such umbrellas adorned with countless billions of ornaments, and even more exceedingly superior hundreds of thousands of billions of umbrellas, being given with an immaculate mind, either for the manifested lord of all sentient beings, or for the sake of adorning the stupa of the fully passed away Tathagata, or for the sake of seeking the Dharma, Bodhisattvas and virtuous friends, or Bodhisattva Dharma-speaking monks, or from fathers and mothers or the Sangha Jewel or all the Buddhas taught, up to all the recipients, when offering and completely giving and bestowing and donating, then, those roots of virtue should be dedicated in this way, it is said. For a while, how to dedicate them first, from the perspective of all roots of virtue, one should also make such a prayer: in any case, may these roots of virtue be completely purified, and with the endless Dharma, may they become a close abode and benefit to all beings! Therefore, may these roots of virtue cut off the evil destinies of all sentient beings in the hell realms! May the birthplace of animals and the aggregates of suffering of the Lord of Death be completely reversed! Thus one prays. When dedicating those roots of virtue, one should dedicate those roots of virtue in this way: may this root of virtue, for the sake of averting my aggregates of suffering, become a dwelling place for all sentient beings! May it be completely from all afflictions.

为了解脱，愿成为一切有情之救护。为了从一切怖畏中救护，愿成为一切有情之依怙。为了随行于一切处，愿成为一切有情之所依。为了获得极度成就和安乐，愿成为一切有情之助伴。为了普遍显示无翳之智慧，愿照亮一切有情。为了遣除无明之黑暗，愿成为一切有情之明灯。为了极度清净而欢喜，愿使一切有情皆得明晰。为了融入不可思议之法性，愿成为一切有情之引导者。为了显示无障之智慧蕴，愿成为一切有情之善导。如是结合。而且，不仅仅是从内心深处完全回向的言辞而已。而且，以欢喜之心完全回向。以满足之心完全回向。以信心之心、极喜之心、柔和之心完全回向。以慈爱之心、友善之心、饶益之心、利益之心、安乐之心完全回向。如是这般完全回向：愿我之善根，使一切有情之行境皆得清净。愿生处皆得清净。愿福德之大自体完全清净。愿不可战胜。愿永不穷尽。愿具足难以征服之心。愿无有遗忘。愿具足证悟、智慧与定解。愿具足无量之智慧。愿身之业、语之业、意之业，一切功德之庄严皆得圆满具足。愿我之善根，使彼一切有情皆能令一切佛陀欢喜。即使令欢喜后，亦不令不悦。愿对彼一切佛陀薄伽梵获得不退转之信心。愿从彼如来、应供、正等觉之诸佛处

May I become the protector of all sentient beings for the sake of liberation. May I become the refuge of all sentient beings for the sake of rescuing them from all fears. May I become the support of all sentient beings for the sake of following all places. May I become the companion of all sentient beings for the sake of attaining supreme accomplishment and happiness. May I illuminate all sentient beings for the sake of fully revealing the wisdom free from obscuration. May I become the lamp for all sentient beings for the sake of dispelling the darkness of ignorance. May I make everything clear to all sentient beings for the sake of rejoicing in supreme purity. May I become the guide of all sentient beings for the sake of entering into the inconceivable nature of reality. May I become the complete leader of all sentient beings for the sake of closely showing the accumulation of unobstructed wisdom. Thus, combine it. Moreover, it is not merely words of complete dedication from the depths of one's heart. Moreover, dedicate it completely with a joyful mind. Dedicate it completely with a satisfied mind. Dedicate it completely with a confident mind, a joyful mind, and a gentle mind. Dedicate it completely with a loving mind, a friendly mind, a beneficial mind, a helpful mind, and a peaceful mind. Dedicate it completely in this way: May this root of my virtue purify the conduct of all sentient beings. May their births be purified. May the great essence of merit be completely purified. May it be unconquerable. May it be inexhaustible. May it be endowed with an invincible mind. May it be without forgetfulness. May it be endowed with realization, intelligence, and certainty. May it be endowed with immeasurable intelligence. May all the adornments of the virtues of body, speech, and mind be completely perfected. May this root of my virtue enable all those sentient beings to please all the Buddhas. Having pleased them, may they never displease them. May they obtain unwavering faith in all those Buddhas, the Bhagavat. May they receive from those Tathagatas, Arhats, perfectly enlightened Buddhas
