I should make my mind like the Dharma. The Dharma is characterized by being unobstructed, so the Dharma is unobstructed by anything. Likewise, I should also make my mind like the Dharma. The Dharma is without latent tendencies, so it does not allow latent tendencies. Likewise, I should also make my mind like the Dharma. The Dharma is always non-conceptual, so the Dharma is neither afraid of samsara nor attached to nirvana. Likewise, I should also make my mind like the Dharma. Thus, the Bodhisattva abides in mindfulness like the Dharma, therefore it is called mindfulness of the Dharma. Son of good family, this is the Bodhisattva's mindfulness of the Dharma, abiding in mindfulness. Moreover, it is said in the same text: The Sangha is the one who speaks the Dharma, practices the Dharma, thinks of the Dharma, the field of the Dharma, the holder of the Dharma, the one who shows the Dharma, the one who makes offerings to the Dharma, the one who does the work of the Dharma, the one who experiences the Dharma, the one who perfectly practices the Dharma, the one who is naturally upright, the one who is naturally pure, the one who possesses the Dharma of compassion, the one who has compassion, the one who always dwells in solitude, the one who always inclines towards the Dharma, the one who always practices white Dharma. And so on. Among them, the Bodhisattva's mindfulness of the Sangha is like this: Whatever perfect qualities the Sangha has, I should accomplish them for myself and all sentient beings. As the noble Vimalakirti Sutra says: How the qualities of the Bodhisattva appear, so should one cultivate mindfulness of the Sangha. All sentient beings' forms and, whatever is expressed in language and sound, the wise Bodhisattvas, show in a single instant. Playing with illusory Dharma, they, in order to ripen sentient beings, show aging and sickness, and also show their own death. Burning in all lands, showing the fire of the eon burning everything, for sentient beings who are constantly attached, skillfully show impermanence. Countless hundreds of thousands of sentient beings, they host in one place, giving all food in their homes, all dedicated to Bodhi. All mantras and vidyas, and various crafts, for all they reach the other shore.

He enables all sentient beings to attain happiness, All the wonders of the world, Appear completely within them, Liberating sentient beings with differing views. He transforms into the moon or the sun, Also becoming Indra, Brahma, the lord of beings, Again transforming into water and fire, Likewise transforming into earth and wind. During the intermediate kalpa of epidemics, He transforms into the supreme and excellent medicine, Thus enabling sentient beings to be liberated, All diseases are removed, and they attain happiness. During the intermediate kalpa of famine, Transforming into food and drink, Eliminating their hunger and thirst without remainder, He also teaches the Dharma to living beings. During the intermediate kalpa of weapons, He solely cultivates loving-kindness, Causing countless billions of sentient beings, To enter into that harmless mind. If in the midst of great battles and disputes, He can equally reconcile them, The great Bodhisattvas with power, Are always happy to encourage harmony and unity. All Buddha-fields without remainder, In the inexpressible hells, For the sake of benefiting sentient beings, He willingly goes there through the power of aspiration. In the places where animals are born, Showing birth in those places, Teaching the Dharma in all places, Therefore, he is called the Good Guide. Again, he reveals the pleasures of desire, Also revealing the pleasures of meditation, Subduing all demons and their retinues, Not allowing them to find an opportunity. Just as a lotus flower grows in the midst of fire, So he reveals the unprecedented, Likewise, the pleasures of desire and meditation, Revealing the unprecedented as well. For the sake of gathering men, He transforms into a prostitute through skillful means, Hooking them with the hook of desire, He places them in the wisdom of the Buddha. For the sake of benefiting sentient beings, He manifests as townspeople and ship captains, Leading guides and ministers, Also constantly manifesting as great officials. Before impoverished sentient beings, He transforms into an inexhaustible treasure, Whatever is given is not in vain, He can establish them in the mind of Bodhi. Before sentient beings with pride and arrogance, He manifests as the most powerful and supreme, Subduing all pride and arrogance, He places them in the great Bodhi. Before frightened sentient beings, He constantly stands before them, Giving fearlessness and removing fear, He can mature them in Bodhi. Those five superknowledges
