Not opposing listening, relying, and revering. Not looking to one's own happiness, delighting in pacifying the suffering of others. Devoted to the Dharma, possessing the wealth of the Dharma, possessing the food of the Dharma, possessing the medicine of the Dharma, possessing the great treasure of the Dharma, possessing the power of the Dharma, being the master of the Dharma, being the benefactor of the Dharma. Always rejoicing in giving, always being mindful, always rejoicing in solitude. At all times becoming a ladder and a bridge, like the great road of a king, like the great sun, like the great Brahma, holding the vajra of great wisdom, breathing with the great Dharma. Not being satisfied by looking at forms, not being satisfied by seeing. Thus, remember those Buddhas, the Bhagavat. By remembering them in this way, one strives to accomplish their qualities. One establishes mindfulness, one exerts effort. Therefore, it is called remembering the Buddha, this is the Bodhisattva's remembering the Buddha, establishing mindfulness. From this, the remembering of the Dharma is taught. Here, the Bodhisattva thinks thus: Those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are of limitless and endless qualities, they are born from the Dharma, they enjoy the share of the Dharma, they are emanated by the Dharma, the Dharma is their master, they arise from the Dharma, the Dharma is their realm, they rely on the Dharma, they are accomplished by the Dharma. Those names and excellent marks of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are also born from the Dharma, obtained from the Dharma, and accomplished by the Dharma. Those ten powers and four fearlessnesses of the Tathagatas are also born from the Dharma, obtained from the Dharma, and accomplished by the Dharma. Those eighteen unshared Dharmas of the Buddhas of the Tathagatas are also born from the Dharma, obtained from the Dharma, and accomplished by the Dharma. Those worldly and transworldly implements of happiness are also born from the Dharma, obtained from the Dharma, and accomplished by the Dharma. Therefore, I, seeking the Bodhi of the Buddha, should make the Dharma the primary thing. The Dharma is the realm of practice, relying on the Dharma, focusing on the Dharma, making the Dharma the essence, the Dharma that is in accordance with the Dharma.

Thinking, "I should practice," this is called the Dharma-anusmriti of a Bodhisattva, which is to abide in mindfulness. Furthermore, a Bodhisattva thinks thus: The Dharma enters equally into all sentient beings, therefore the Dharma does not enter seeing the inferior, the middling, and the superior. Likewise, I should also generate a mind that is the same as the Dharma. The Dharma does not fall to any side, therefore the Dharma does not enter looking at faces. Likewise, I should also generate a mind that is the same as the Dharma. The Dharma has no time limit. Seeing this Dharma is meaningful. With one's own wisdom, the Dharma does not enter looking at time. Likewise, I should also generate a mind that is the same as the Dharma. The Dharma has no high or low, therefore the Dharma does not enter the vast, nor does it enter the lowly. Likewise, I should also generate a mind that is in accordance with the Dharma. The Dharma is free from the superior and the inferior, therefore the Dharma does not enter the pure, nor does it enter the degenerate. Likewise, I should also generate a mind that is the same as the Dharma. The Dharma is free from the view of fields and non-fields, therefore the Dharma does not enter the noble, nor does it enter the ordinary person. Likewise, I should also generate a mind that is the same as the Dharma. The Dharma constantly and continuously enters, therefore the Dharma does not enter during the day, nor does it enter during the night. It is not that it enters during the night and does not enter during the day. Likewise, I should also generate a mind that is the same as the Dharma. The Dharma never stays anywhere, therefore the Dharma does not miss the time for taming. Likewise, I should also generate a mind that is the same as the Dharma. The Dharma has no desire at all times and places, therefore the Dharma has no hatred for those who hate, nor does it have attachment to those who have faith. Likewise, I should also generate a mind that is the same as the Dharma. The Dharma neither decreases nor increases, because it is immeasurable and countless, like space, it neither decreases nor increases. Likewise, I should also generate a mind that is the same as the Dharma. It is not that sentient beings protect the Dharma, but that the Dharma protects sentient beings. Likewise, I should also generate a mind that is the same as the Dharma. The Dharma does not seek refuge, but the Dharma is the refuge of all worlds. Likewise, I should
