Where was that person born? His merit and splendor are exceedingly magnificent. He will be respected in villages, cities, and among his kin. If someone takes even a mustard seed's worth of scented water, and uses it to incense the Tathagata's stupa, then listen with a mind cleansed of defilements, to the benefits that are beyond description. He will be endowed with merit, traveling in all directions, free from illness, with steadfast mind and mindfulness. When engaging in virtuous conduct, he will subdue suffering, and be pleasing and agreeable to many people. Having obtained kingship, he will highly revere the Victorious One, becoming a mighty, supremely wise Chakravartin, possessing golden hue and wearing armor of fame, he will obtain desirable fragrance in all the world. If one wraps the Tathagata's stupa with cloth, then he will obtain excellent garments immediately upon birth. He will find the extraordinary silk garments of the gods, supremely excellent, and his body will be exceedingly comfortable immediately upon birth. If someone offers cloth to the Tathagata's stupa, as well as to the incomparable guides, then he will obtain an incomparable body here, and the flowers of the thirty-two marks will blossom. If one wraps the Tathagata's stupa with cloth, then beautiful pearl garlands will emerge from the palms of his hands, as well as various lion garlands, and exquisitely beautiful golden threads will appear for immeasurable kalpas. If one generates faith, thinking that the world will become enlightened, and offers a banner to the Tathagata's stupa, then he will become worthy of worship by many people. He will practice the supreme Bodhisattva conduct, engaging in peace, and offer a victory banner to the supreme beings who have cleared away defilements. Before long, he will gain abundant wealth, and although possessing a vast treasury of limitless wisdom, he will not become narrow-minded, nor will he become base. He will not generate a mind that harms others, his mind will be excellent and always mindful. Fire, poison, and weapons will not harm him, and he will be gazed upon by great assemblies of people. If one offers a single lamp to the Buddha's stupa, from here until the peak of existence, the Buddha's field, the entire earth, will be filled with gold, such glory cannot be exhausted. If one offers a lamp to the Tathagata's stupa, his body will never become ugly, his form will be excellent and firm, and his hands will be like elephant trunks, having obtained radiance, he will travel throughout the world. 千俱胝佛土啊！ 若以芥子盛满之， 可计数、可衡量、可言说， 然献如来一灯则不然。 以饰庄严之身，美丽悦意， 何人供养薄伽梵之塔？ 彼于此处身无等伦， 何人令胜者之身极光耀， 三十二相之位亦可得。 殊胜之身形如金， 如赡部洲金极美观赏心悦， 相好之花盛开而充满， 获证神通且权势广扬。 行持殊胜菩提行，寂静调柔， 彼之受用永不衰减。 天亦敬重应供养， 欲稳固受用不喜他物。 戒律清净，精通梵行， 立誓入于森林与林苑， 获证神通且得殊胜。 于薄伽梵之塔供养伞盖者， 无论如何亦不舍菩提心， 安住慈心，转为贤善之心， 彼之智慧亦不衰退。 以乐音供养人中胜， 无有忧恼，转为有权国王， 人世间亦成悦意具乐音， 彼之音声圆满且清净。 以乐音供养薄伽梵之塔， 具足正念，眼亦清净， 耳根清净，心亦清净， 鼻根亦得殊胜。 彼之舌极美观赏心悦， 初极柔软，美妙音声悦耳， 譬如天之珍宝珊瑚， 发出无数美妙音声。 以乐音供养薄伽梵之塔， 永不变为蛇身，亦非无舌者， 不为跛者、驼者、歪斜者， 身殊胜且极美丽。 以乐音供养薄伽梵之塔， 天或龙或人或大腹者， 无人不对其生信， 得自在力周游世间。 清扫薄伽梵涅槃之塔， 于千百万俱胝劫中， 得肢体无缺殊胜之身， 美丽且以妙相为庄严。

A billion trillion Buddha fields! If filled to the brim with mustard seeds, They can be counted, measured, and spoken of, But offering a single lamp to the Sugata is not like that. Whosoever offers a beautiful and pleasing stupa of the Bhagavan, Adorned with ornaments, Their body here will be incomparable, Whosoever makes the body of the Victorious One shine brightly, The position of the thirty-two marks will also be attained. A superior form like gold, Like Jambudvipa gold, extremely beautiful and pleasing to behold, Filled with the blossoming flowers of marks and signs, Attaining clairvoyance and becoming famous with great power. Practicing the supreme Bodhi conduct, peaceful and gentle, Their enjoyment will never diminish. Even the gods will respect and be worthy of offering, Desiring stable enjoyment, they will not desire other things. Pure in morality, highly skilled in pure conduct, Vowing to enter the forest and groves, Attaining clairvoyance and gaining distinction. Those who offer umbrellas to the stupas of the Bhagavan, In any way, they will not abandon the Bodhi mind, Abiding in loving-kindness, transforming into a virtuous mind, Their wisdom will not decline. If the best of humans makes offerings with musical sounds, They will be without sorrow and become a powerful king, The human world will become pleasing and full of music, Their voice will be complete and pure. If musical sounds are made to the stupa of the Bhagavan, They will be mindful and their eyes will become pure, The ears will be purified and the mind will also be pure, The sense of smell will also be excellent. Their tongue will be extremely beautiful and pleasing to behold, Initially very soft, beautiful, and the sound pleasing, Like the precious coral of the gods, Emitting countless beautiful sounds. If musical sounds are made to the stupa of the Bhagavan, They will never become a snake, nor be without a tongue, They will not be lame, hunchbacked, or crooked, The body will be superior and extremely beautiful. If musical sounds are made to the stupa of the Bhagavan, Whether god, Naga, human, or large-bellied, No one will fail to generate faith in them, Having obtained the power to move freely throughout the world. Sweeping the stupa of the Bhagavan's Nirvana, For hundreds of millions of eons, Obtaining a perfect and superior body with all limbs intact, Beautiful and adorned with auspicious marks.
