View all phenomena in this way. When a person beats a drum, the sound is not considered a delight of the world. The sound is like that, its parts are also like that. O King, you should view all phenomena in this way. When a person beats a drum, there is no movement and no entity of peace. The sound is like that, its parts are also like that. O King, you should view all phenomena in this way. When a person beats a drum, the sound is not born independently, nor is it a part. Like the sound, your parts are also empty. O King, you should view all phenomena in this way. Thus it is said. Again it is said, "Cultivating loving-kindness with sentient beings as the object," the Teacher thus revealed: Sentient beings are dissected, and all beings know that there are no sentient beings. Thus, the noble one with two feet, without defilement, without doubt, possesses wisdom. Therefore, the Sugatas, possessing discerning wisdom, are worthy of offering, I shall offer to you. Although the Well-Gone One does not perceive the suffering existing in the ten directions, the God of Gods, you said that you should have compassion for sentient beings. Thus, the Supreme King, we shall truly understand the intention of the Victor. Therefore, the chief of two-legged beings, the best among humans, worthy of offering, I shall offer to you. O Sage, you did not see sentient beings and the suffering to be eliminated, but you generated joy, and with an extremely joyful mind, you eliminated displeasure. Thus, the Buddha's principle is inconceivable, we shall truly understand this principle. Therefore, O best among humans, we shall obtain the fruit of joy from the supreme place. The Sage has abandoned the body, yet if you seek the body, you are not discouraged. Thus, the guide does not speak or remember, and there is no forgetting. The Well-Gone One said, "Practice the meditation that goes with the body." Having known this Buddha principle, I shall offer to the Well-Gone One in peace. For the sake of pacifying suffering, one should also practice the path of tranquility and insight. The Bhagavan who pacifies the afflictions, habitual tendencies, and stains of beings, the Sage, tranquility and insight, all stains are emptiness. In this, there is no doubt for any of the gods, without fault, I shall offer to you. Again it is said, "The eye is separate from the nature of the eye, the realm is separate from the nature of the realm. In what dharma

That which lacks inherent existence is that which lacks entity. That which lacks entity is that which is not fully established. That which is not fully established is that which has no birth. That which has no birth is that which has no cessation. Thus, apply this analogy: That which is not visible in the three times is neither the eye nor the sense faculty. If it is neither the eye nor the sense faculty, how should one seek to name it? For example, an empty cup is false, not true, and non-existent. Thus, it is named, but in terms of ultimate truth, emptiness is not visible, nor is annihilation visible. Similarly, the eye and the sense faculty are like an empty cup, false and non-existent, not true, being of the nature of deception, delusion, perversion, and enticement, deceiving children and bewildering fools. Thus, it is named, but in terms of ultimate truth, even the eye is not visible. Furthermore, it is said in the same text: Like a great rain falling in a dream, so do defilements arise. The arising of defilements, O wise one, has been shown by you, the great hero. As heads are cut off in dreams, you have seen the cessation of defilements. This is shown to the wise, and I prostrate to the one who sees all. Thus it is. In this very text, the king of humans and non-humans, Tree God, asked, and the Blessed One replied: Emptiness and prophecy, I have not understood. If there is anything that is not empty, the Victorious One would not prophesy it. Why is this? Because in this way, one's own nature remains, unchanging and constant, and there is no increase or decrease in it. For example, like the perfectly pure mandala of a mirror that is empty in nature, the appearance of images is like that. O Tree God, know all phenomena in this way. If the realm of phenomena is immutable, what change is there in the limbs of offering? Always practice with the limbs, O Tree God, engage in this offering. The actions that are unmoving, the teaching was not understood, he said. Understand that the assembly of the parts of a chariot and the function of a chariot are the same. I have shown the nature of action, but the agent is not in the ten directions. Just as fire arises and changes when trees are moved by the wind, we do not think of the wind and wood as creating this fire. Nevertheless, fire arises.
