If some aspects are not understood, one will cling to reality; if one fully understands, the correct boundary will be revealed. If someone objects, saying, then why cling? The answer is, as explained below, by relying on the practice of combining skillful means and wisdom, one can extend the boundaries of samsara and nirvana. Here, "those" refers to the content mentioned above. "Some aspects" refers to the aspiration to understand when faith is taken as the object in the stage of practice based on faith. On the great ground of practice based on faith, realizing the truth and the Dharma that accords with the truth, naturally and completely devoting the mind to self-nature by taking faith as the object. When the suchness that pervades the Dharmadhatu is realized on the first ground, one can fully and completely attain Buddhahood in all ways on the Buddha ground. Therefore, between realizing the self-nature of all Dharmas as one taste and the self-nature that is free from multiplicity, all qualities increase upwards. This should be understood in this way. I have not explained it in detail because I am worried about the length. Among them, what is to be revealed are the two forms of the form body, as it is said in the sutras, "On the first ground, one sees the faces of a hundred Buddhas," and so on. The "one moment" mentioned here refers to the power of samadhi. Even these, do not cling to reality, but follow the moment of wisdom through the conventional path, because the object of wisdom is the conventional. Relying on the miraculous power of samadhi, even a moment is like that. Here, "following" refers to conforming. "That moment" refers to that one moment. "All" refers to the three times of past, present, and future. "Manifest accomplishment" refers to bringing sentient beings to complete maturity and purifying the Buddha land completely. If someone asks, then will one cling to reality? The answer is, do not generate the thought of duality either. Duality refers to self and other. Thought refers to discrimination. Do not generate these thoughts, because they are the afflictions of a Bodhisattva. If someone asks, then should one only practice unconditioned Dharma? The answer is, it is not like that, and do not cling to the thought of non-duality that requires abandoning the extreme of cessation.

Because one must focus on the illusory realm. Saying "illusory" is to abandon the concept of viewing things as persons and dharmas, such as "sentient beings" and so on. If one abandons the views of duality and non-duality, how can one obtain the fruit? Why is this so? To this question, as previously stated, because the two extremes have been abandoned, one is separated from the paths of attachment to existence and non-existence, and one must abandon the concept of viewing things as self and dharma, because this is an obstacle to the path. Attachment to it is desire. Thus, the nature of nirvana has been explained from the aspect of its own nature, and now the nature of nirvana is explained from the aspect of activity, as stated in "Hey, sons of the Victorious Ones." Activity is of two types: inconceivable and all-pervading. To explain these, it is said, "Furthermore," that is, "the activity of manifestation is the manifestation of the Tathagata." By showing that the activity of the Dharmakaya is the nature of the Nirmanakaya, the appearance of the perfect and complete enlightenment of the transfer and entry into the womb, etc., is the manifestation for those who are to be subdued. The activity of destruction is to make the appearance of the Nirmanakaya disappear, and by reversing the view of permanence, the Vajra-like body is shown to be broken in places such as Kushinagara. To bring it to complete maturity is called complete nirvana, and it is those who hold permanent views who generate aversion. If one thinks that the Tathagata is created, then because it is an inconceivable activity, there is no birth, etc. At all times, the Tathagata is the nature of the Dharmadhatu and wisdom, non-dual, the Dharmakaya, and having entered into it, does not enter into nirvana, nor does it pass away from elsewhere. This is what is said. What is the example of that? It is said, "Like this, for example," and so on. Because the activity of the Tathagata pervades all places, even one Buddha performs all actions and shows all nirvana, just as the orb of the sun is equal to the Dharmadhatu, and that is what is said. Although the appearance of nirvana is not a temporary compassion, it is due to the faults of those who are to be subdued, as stated in the example of a broken vessel, etc.
