If there is only intrinsic existence, then words of designation can be applied to phenomena such as form; if there is no intrinsic existence, then there is no application of words of designation to things that lack intrinsic existence. If the basis of designation is non-existent, then it becomes without a basis, and therefore designation also does not exist. Therefore, some people, having heard the sutras of the Great Vehicle that are difficult to understand, endowed with profound emptiness, which teach the meaning of the intended meaning, do not understand the meaning of what is said as it is, and, not properly applying their minds, merely with conceptualizations arising from non-reasoning, think, "All of this is merely imputed, and this is the only truth." Whoever looks at it this way and speaks in this way, that is the correct way of looking at it. According to their view, since even the intrinsic existence of the basis of designation does not exist, then designation itself does not exist in any way, so how could there be a true view by mere imputation? Therefore, those people are actually slandering reality, imputation, and both of them, so it should be known that they are the main proponents of nihilism. Such nihilists are not worthy of being mentioned by the wise as practicing the same as Brahma, and should not be associated with, because they destroy whatever view they hold. With this in mind, the Bhagavan also said, "Some who hold to the view of self are better, but some who wrongly grasp emptiness are incurable." Why? Because those who hold to the view of self, even if they are confused about what is to be known, do not slander what is to be known, and therefore will not be reborn in the lower realms, nor will they deceive others, and they will establish themselves in the Dharma and truth. They will also practice what they have learned, but those who wrongly grasp emptiness will do the opposite. How is it wrongly grasped? They do not accept what is empty of what, nor do they accept what is empty of what, this is called wrongly grasping. Why? Because emptiness, which is empty of what does not exist, and what is empty exists, is reasonable. If everything does not exist, then where, what, and by what will it be empty? Therefore, it itself cannot become emptiness. Therefore, now

It is said that such a view falls into emptiness. So, what is the nature of all dharmas? It is inexpressible, because expression is a boundary. Therefore, when the noble Manjushri asked Vimalakirti of Vaishali, and was challenged with "Why is that so?", he remained silent, and the noble Manjushri praised him accordingly. Moreover, the noble Maitreya and the noble Asanga also said: "The unreal, completely imagined is existent; in it, the two are non-existent; emptiness is also existent in it; it also exists in it. It is neither empty nor non-empty; therefore, everything is said to be established; because of existence with non-existence, it is the Middle Way." Therefore, because the unreal, completely imagined is existent, there is no grasper and grasped, being separated from grasper and grasped, and self-awareness is existent, we Madhyamikas enter well into the path that is separated from the two extremes, how could we hold onto the evil doctrines of the heretics, both external and internal? Therefore, if direct perception that sees this shore can also be mistaken in the meaning of appearance, then one becomes even more confused about the meaning that is extremely hidden. Therefore, by following the teachings of the noble Nagarjuna and Asanga, the teachings themselves are valid, as mentioned before. Why? Because the noble Nagarjuna abides on the first bhumi, and the noble Asanga abides on the third bhumi, so their tenets are also the same. Just as we have proven. Those who refute our view that knowable objects exist internally, although they speak many wrong views out of hatred, we will not elaborate on them here, and now we will proceed to the main topic. If one wants to realize the nature of nirvana, then wouldn't the bodhisattvas fall into the extreme of reality? No, it is only realizing some aspects of the nature of nirvana, and complete realization is realized by the lords of the ten bhumis. Therefore, the most ultimate is inexpressible and unshowable. If it is spoken, it will become that, this is the concluding word.
