Sala. Examining those who are born, the unskilled do not see the meaning of dependent origination. Thus it is said. Furthermore, the venerable Maitreya and the venerable Asanga also said: What is the decline from the Vinaya of the Holy Dharma, which is not well grasped by superimposition? If those dharmas and things enter as they are spoken of, and if they become the nature of those dharmas and things, then in that way, the nature of one dharma and one thing would become many kinds of faults. Why is that? Like this, for one dharma and one thing, many aspects of negation are spoken and fabricated, and fabricated and superimposed. Among the many kinds of fabricated words, if any one of the examined words becomes the nature of that dharma and that thing, the essence of its nature, and the other examined words are not, then no certainty can be seen at all. Therefore, all the fabricated words, whether all or one, do not become the nature of all dharmas and all things, nor do they become the essence of their nature. Furthermore, if the dharmas such as form do not have the nature of superimposed words, then if the first one occurs first, and later the word of superimposition is closely superimposed with joy, then before the word of superimposition is closely superimposed, when it is not closely fabricated, that dharma and that thing become without nature. If there is no nature, then how can the word of superimposition be closely superimposed on something that does not exist? Even if the word of superimposition is closely superimposed many times, the nature of the word of superimposition cannot exist in dharmas and things. If, before the word of superimposition is closely superimposed, form is the nature of form, and later, when it is grasped by the word of fabrication, it is closely superimposed as form, then even if the word of superimposition called form does not exist, the dharma that becomes form and the thing that becomes it, the wisdom of it should enter, but because it does not enter, with this reason and logic, the dharma form up to nirvana.

The nature spoken of in between should be recognized as unborn and unspeakable. "Unborn" is also called the fruit, because for the unborn cause, as previously stated, the fruit will not arise either. Some say that unborn and unarisen are two names for the same entity. Some say that unborn is the present, unarisen is the past, and non-separation is that there will be no birth in the future. Others say that afflictions to be abandoned, etc., are unborn, and their antidotes are unarisen. Why? Because the antidote is to be abandoned, etc. Now, if there is no object to be abandoned and no abandoner, then who abandons what in what way? Therefore, there is no separation of abandonment either. Thus, for the cause and effect that are unborn and unarisen, since the antidote has nothing to do, there is no separation of what is to be abandoned either. If existence is refuted, will it become non-existence? No, we Madhyamikas do not accept non-existence either, because non-existence is slander, as previously stated. There is another reason, the noble Nagarjuna also said: For those who desire non-existence, since enlightenment depends on the mind, there is no acceptance and no action, how does he know by non-existence? And also said: Not understanding the meaning of complete solitude, only engaging in hearing, those who do not do merit, those inferior beings will be destroyed. And also the sutra says: Not understanding the meaning of emptiness, yet claiming to be emptiness, having become those who view annihilation, viewing non-emptiness as emptiness. The noble Maitreya and the noble Asanga also said: What is the slander of not well understanding the holy Dharma and Vinaya, which follows what was previously shown? It is the slander of the mere entity of phenomena such as form, that itself is without existence and establishment, and both of those are unreasonable. For example, if aggregates such as form exist, then it can be established as a person, if it is determined to be non-existent, then a person cannot be established for the non-entity. Similarly, for the phenomena of form, etc.,
