It is merely an assembly. Some say that it refers to the ten dharmas, such as explaining taming. Some say that it refers to having the five dharmas, such as much learning. Some say that it refers to having the five dharmas, such as abiding in vows. Some say that it refers to having the seven dharmas, such as abiding in possessing morality. Some say that not possessing the three faults, such as violating morality, is considered a perfect spiritual friend. Among them, the one with scriptural authority is the spiritual friend who receives scriptural authority, and the spiritual friend who has practice. Among them, from the perspective of scriptural authority, it is only receiving scriptural authority. The one with practice is both scriptural authority and practice. Either the one with scriptural authority or the one with practice can accomplish both. The two cannot accomplish each other. Therefore, here is a verse: The two hands, first and second, and the difference of their antidotes, time and arrow are two kinds, the two arrows are each upright, virtues are pure, at different times, in order to understand without abandoning desire, the work of the two hands of the teachings, is summarized as two kinds each, this is the verse of summary. Therefore, because it is the main one, it is called practice. Among them, the characteristic of relying on a spiritual friend is taught, and "Glorious Birth" and so on are taught. First, teaching the object of reliance is, teaching "dependence" and so on. Behavior refers to morality and so on, which is the object that the ear sense has not heard. In terms of practice, it is said that "one should perfect virtues," virtues refer to hearing and so on. Perfection means without incompleteness. Thus, the one with practice is worldly and transcendental. In all situations, the collection of virtues, from birth to all situations, with the distinction of complete possession, first arises on the worldly path, meaning that the root of virtue arises from generosity and so on, which is the distinction of being completely grasped by wisdom. Diligently learning is the distinction of joy, with diligence, not generating unarisen sins and non-virtuous dharmas, and so on.

The utterly pure intention is the samadhi of the mind, and so on. It is the difference between tranquility and insight. Accumulating merit is differentiated by the power of faith and so on. Bodhi is the wisdom that knows things as they are, and so on. Because it accords with this, it makes one happy, and is differentiated by faith and so on. Not falling into the lower realms is the nirvana that has gone into the state of patience. Attainment is the difference of realizing no self-nature. The Great Vehicle considers emptiness as something to be done. Its difference is that believing in the non-self of all phenomena is irreversible. The first state of transcendence over the world is the realization that the realm of phenomena pervades everything, which is the stage of ordinary beings. Because all the bonds of the three realms and so on are exhausted, it is complete nirvana. Learning is the discipline of vows and so on. Contradictions are killing and so on. Because one does not commit these faults, it is not doing. The determination of the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas is the wisdom that realizes no-self. It is not disturbed by the power of superior samadhi. The path is the characteristic of knowing suffering and so on. Its opposing side, clinging to the purity of the body and so on, is a deviation. Completely guarding is because it generates one's own wisdom. Dharma is dependent arising. Pouring down great rain is because it generates the power of wisdom. Therefore, the Noble One also said: This dependent arising is the Victorious One, the precious and profound nature of the treasury of speech. The Buddha's Dharma is the mindfulness and so on. When abiding, as before, it is because it generates one's own wisdom. Benefit is signlessness and diligence. Vastness is signlessness, because sign is small. The Buddha-nature is what was said before. Again, Buddha-nature is the realization of signlessness. Generation is spontaneous accomplishment, arising naturally, like a mother. Sin is another name for ignorance. Being ignorant of the meaning and so on is sin. Individual correct knowledge is guarding because it dispels ignorance of names and characteristics, individual correct
