etc. Deception is the mind of deceiving. Desire is wanting things. Some say that because it was done in the presence of the king, it is shown as eight. Why? Because extreme brightness, ferocity, etc., are extremely prone to the eight faults of various harms, etc. Some also say that it is shown by the attitude of an elephant to counteract it. Some also say that it is a summary of the essence of actions. Some also think that it is shown by the collective thought of that retinue. Thus, from the chapter of the truthful one, the correct practice is also shown. Now, in order to show the practice of correctly thinking with two minds, it is said to possess four dharmas. In general, the combination of achieving one's own and others' benefits is shown. Because one cannot subdue others without subduing oneself, in order to separately show the method of obtaining one's own benefit, four dharmas are mentioned. One's own benefit is of two kinds: benefit and happiness. Benefit is of two kinds: permanent and non-permanent. Thus, the benefit that is shown to be non-permanent is temporary, i.e., obtaining gods and humans. In this regard, it is said not to fall into evil destinies. Falling is sentient beings, hells, etc. Not falling is completely abandoning those. Relying on such a body, permanent benefit is achieved, so what is shown is quickly making it happy. Making it happy is seeing the Buddha. How can merely seeing the Buddha become a permanent benefit? If it is said that like King Ajatasatru obtained the summit but also entered the uninterrupted hell, then it is said to have dharma, i.e., the remainder of the sentence is that patience is quickly obtained. Therefore, it will become a permanent benefit, because after obtaining patience, one will not fall into evil destinies. In terms of happiness, it is said that one also completely possesses great enjoyment. Perfection is all without remainder. How can the happiness of this life, which will become a future benefit, be established? If it is said that one wants this life itself, then how is the connection of the sound of making it happy? Because it is combined with the fundamental connection, even though making it happy is shown below, it is done with the expression of happiness called "Ha."

It is evident that this life will become happy. The word "འང་" seems to be synonymous with "ཧེའི་". Because it does not become a collective word. If it is not so, then how can the reversal of cause and effect be understood? In the Abhidharmakosha it is said, "Showing that the cause existed before is also for the sake of those of inferior thought." In Mahayana Buddhism, there is no fault in showing that cause and effect are uncertain. It is only to prevent clinging, here we only want certainty. If it is not so, then how can the fruits be obtained? If you want the fruit, you must work hard on the cause, why bother with the fruit in another way? It is enough to say too much. What is the cause of obtaining the fruit? In order to show it. It is said that it exists in order to protect the doctrine, and so on. The doctrine refers to the sacred Dharma. Protection means complete possession. There are four ways of holding: holding with practice, holding with reason, holding with power, and holding with yoga. Holding with practice means diligently engaging in listening, thinking, and meditation. There are many kinds of reason. If you hold through direct perception and inference, how do you hold them? Relying on direct perception and inference, those non-Buddhist heretics who speak contrary to the Dharma, such as the wanderers, destroy the evil views of clinging to permanence, etc., and place them on the correct view. Relying on credible words, some of the inner heretics cling to false views, such as thinking that there is an unforgettable person, turn them away from it, and place them on the correct view. These are the ones who completely hold the Dharma by touching it. How to hold with power? Some kings, when they obtain the greatness of power, whether they are monks or Brahmins, some completely abandon and abandon greatness. After abandoning it, if you see someone preaching the black doctrine and placing it on non-subjugation, thereby destroying the sacred Dharma. Alas, these sentient beings have embarked on the wrong path, and also lead others to follow, which is the root of benefit and happiness.
