Therefore, the internal impermanence is momentary impermanence, continuous impermanence, and sudden impermanence. External impermanence is the impermanence of time, such as decay and so on. These should also be repeatedly practiced, and by bending one's body and head in nine postures, one will avoid wrong views. As it is said: From the stage of abiding in mindfulness, observing the arising carefully is called observing with impermanence. Decay and destruction refer to the internal and external body. How to cultivate the antidote to attachment to enjoyment? Some say that cultivating the faults of desire itself is sufficient. Some say that cultivating the impermanence of the body itself will abandon attachment to enjoyment. The King of Dharma means that one should be in accordance with the Dharma, not casually. How to do it? One should follow, meaning that one should act as the Blessed One said. Non-dharma is not in accordance with the rules, such as what is taught in the story of the arising of Bodhicitta in the Wandering Ascetic. Now, what indicates that very impermanence? For example, and so on, for the time being, the example is the great mountain, because of the lightning strike, the mountain is used as an example. To indicate aging and so on, four directions are mentioned. To indicate that it is unstoppable and indestructible, hardness and so on are mentioned, because it cannot be chiseled, it is hard. Because it is hard, it has essence. Because there is no gap, it will not be damaged. Because there is no hail, it will not crack. Because there is no crevice, it is not hollow. Because it cannot be destroyed, it is hard. Because there is no space, it is gathered together. Because it is tall and majestic, it is huge and tall. The example explained in this way is said in the same way, it is not easy to be reversed, meaning that by the power of abandoning afflictions, one will be liberated from bondage, which is tall and majestic. Among them, in terms of body, life, and enjoyment, four are indicated here. In terms of the body, it is aging and sickness. In terms of life, it is death. In terms of enjoyment, it is established as decline, destruction is because of robbery, that is

In common language, monks, youth is painful, aging, disgusting, unpleasant, and displeasing to all worldly people. The end of youth is old age. Monks, all worldly people are unpleasant, not aging, not disgusting, not pleasant, and should not be happy, etc., just as it is said. Having shown the wrong practice in general like this, now, because they are all fundamental, it is necessary to specifically explain abandoning attachment to the body. Among them, first, showing the impermanence of the body is death. Moreover, that is also unwanted and is controlled by others, thus showing the lack of autonomy, using the example of the lion, the king of beasts in the mountains. Combining the two metaphors, it is said, "Just like that." The lord of death is Yama. "Clear" means a synonym for the name of unhappiness. How is it? It is separation from abundance, etc. How does it become unhappy? When experiencing the four existences, one experiences four kinds of suffering, namely, the existence of death, the intermediate existence, the previous existence, and the existence of birth, these four kinds of suffering such as separation from abundance, etc. Among them, separation from abundance, etc., shows many sufferings of death. From the existence of karma to entering existence again, etc., shows the suffering of the intermediate existence. "Entering" means that, like the cause of a fruit, it arises without being cut off. Here, suffering refers to existence without bodily distinction. Some say that there is no intermediate existence, and the explanation of the intermediate existence in the scriptures also refers to the interval of going to other places. Showing the suffering of the previous existence refers to clinging to the appearance of the place where one will be born. This very sutra says that if a sentient being is going to hell, then this sentient being is hell, still alive, etc., therefore entering great darkness, because that is the sight of committing sins. Therefore, the future life, being born in sentient being hell, etc., is the suffering of existence, connecting the continuum in those places, therefore the sutra says that one will be born.
