It is like entering a great transgression. In order to abandon it, one should rely on a true spiritual friend and abide in discipline, such as "being completely taken care of by a virtuous friend" and so on. Why? Because a virtuous friend is the complete pure conduct. As it is said, "Ananda, similar pure conduct is the complete pure conduct." The noble Nagarjuna himself said, "By relying on a virtuous friend, one can practice pure conduct. The Tathagata himself said that it can be perfected." In this way, because of having two faults, not accumulating the cause of happiness, it will become suffering, as stated in "greed" and so on. The cause of happiness is to rely on the excellent spiritual friend, listen to and contemplate the Dharma, and practice the meaning correctly. If one does not rely on the excellent spiritual friend and does not listen to and contemplate the Dharma, one will abide in the cause of suffering, as stated in "greed" and so on. The wisdom of the noble ones is the wisdom that arises from hearing, which is the nature of thoroughly distinguishing all dharmas. Because of this, ignorance and so on will dissipate. Without it, one will be separated, which is a synonym for abandonment. Proper attention is to contemplate the antidote in order to eliminate desire and so on. Without it, one will be greedy, because one is attached to it first. Attachment is because one does not separate in the middle. Not knowing satisfaction is because one wants it again and again in the end. In order to abandon it, abiding in the wisdom of hearing and thinking is to abandon attachment and generate the wisdom of the noble ones. Correct practice has two aspects: mundane and supramundane, which is right view. Among them, the first is not to slander karma and its results, thereby avoiding the extreme of nihilism. Without it, one does not observe the ripening of karma and so on. Constant is unchanging. Interruption is the cessation of continuity. In short, it is the meaning of being separated from the mundane right view. In order to abandon it, the supramundane right view is what is said in "profound dependent origination" and so on. Profound is because it is incomprehensible to those on this shore. What is done is not

Since one neither eats nor engages in non-virtuous activities, mocking those who do not slander is foolish. Wisdom is for complete discernment, and because it is the enemy of ignorance, separation from it leads to the teachings of ignorance and so forth. Ignorance is the non-seeing of the nature of existence. If asked, what exists? The answer is: because it exists in the nature of abandoning delusion, in the nature of non-conceptualization. The so-called delusion is the meaning of seeing non-existence. If asked, what is non-existent? The answer is: because self and so forth do not exist. Some people think, is there nothing to be established except for merely negating what is to be negated? How can it exist in the nature of non-conceptualization? Although it is true, here we do not acknowledge any completely decisive nature, but merely apply the name of existence to the nature of reality. If it were not so, how could the cause of delusion be established? If ignorance and so forth were completely non-existent and became the cause of delusion, then it should be abandoned by the path of seeing. If it exists, how can it be abandoned? Just as eye disease and so forth cause a white conch to appear yellow and so forth, it is also a complete purification of the inner nature. How can it appear externally? The appearance of falling hairs is also a delusion from mere non-existence, and delusion from existence will also perish. Therefore, the analogy of the nature of being free from duality, such as the yellowness of the grasper and the grasped in relation to a white conch, is also unreasonable. If it appears when the eye disease is cured, that would be acceptable, but when the eye disease is cured, where does the falling hair exist? At the time of abandoning delusion, if one possesses subsequent wisdom, then how can ignorance return? If it does not return, then what will be named Buddha? Some say that some people do not understand the intention of the noble Nagarjuna and say such things. But self-awareness free from duality certainly exists, it is evident from scripture and reasoning, and to hold that it does not exist is a slanderous misunderstanding, as the noble Asanga clearly stated, and the noble Nagarjuna also said: Seeing non-existence leads to bad migrations, seeing existence leads to good migrations, fully knowing reality as it is, not relying on the two extremes is liberation. The reasons for these and other such statements will be explained below, they also think. Now it is too verbose, the ordinary
