It is called maturation. Among them, the manifested actions of the body and so on are called karma, which are the three types of virtue and so on. Defilement is the belief in self, and on the ground of practice with faith, believing that all dharmas are without self is the non-conceptual mind. The so-called all dharmas refers to all internal and external things, because they are free from one and many. Because of the absence of inherent existence, it is emptiness, and because it does not arise from itself, others, or without cause, it is without the characteristic of cause, and because it does not arise from existence, non-existence, or both, it is without the desire for results. Therefore, being separated from all actions and not manifesting actions is being separated from all discriminations, that is, the faith that arises in the state of equipoise on the path of non-seeing. After that, from the stage of attainment to the fifth ground, believing in the nature of the union of skillful means and wisdom is generosity and so on. From the sixth ground to the tenth ground, the four types of wisdom are understanding dependent origination and so on. Thus, the ten perfections are the nature of faith in the path of seeing and the path of cultivation. Some say that the cause of higher realms is karma and the maturation of karma. Abandoning the obscuration of afflictions is non-defilement. Because of abandoning the obscuration of knowledge, it is emptiness and so on. Because of desiring the supreme vehicle, there are six perfections. In short, it is said to be faith in the grounds of higher realms and liberation. Some say that this is the meaning of directly arising and indirectly arising. Believing in karma and the maturation of karma is direct faith, and the non-defiled mind and so on are indirectly arising. Among them, defilement is the object of grasping and the grasper. The nature of the self-aware mind of luminosity, which is free from that, is the non-defiled mind. The nature of complete imputation, the nature of dependence, and the nature of perfect accomplishment are characteristics, arising, and ultimate nature, and because of the absence of inherent existence, it is emptiness and so on. One does not seek the nature of another mind other than the mind of luminosity, and the nature of dharma is another mind other than the mind. It is said in the sutras, "Non-existence is said to be nature," therefore it does not manifest actions.

Thus, with pure view and perfect conduct, it is said that the six perfections and the four means of gathering are taught. The nature of the first, the characteristic of the beginning, is faith, because attachment and other conceptualizations hinder it, just like jewels and water. What is it that has no conceptualization? It is that which has no attachment. What is the object? It is the Mahayana. The four aspects are the main factors that hinder the lineage of the Mahayana, so the Mahayana is mentioned. Others are, the initial faith is mainly based on aspiration, so it is considered to be in the stage of aspiration and practice. For a while, the bodhisattva always follows the word "la" of the collection, and is very thirsty because of the virtuous friend and the Prajnaparamita, and makes a cry, just like seven days and seven nights have passed. As it is said in the "Advice to the King": "Seeing the image of the perfectly complete Buddha, he looks without blinking for seven days, and the stream of tears does not stop." Also, as the noble Norzang, as soon as he saw the virtuous friend, his eyes were filled with tears. Therefore, in the stage of accumulation, the aspiration for the Mahayana is irreversible, so it is called the power of faith. In the state of warmth and peak, because it can be controlled, it is the root. In the state of patience and the best of all dharmas, because it is not destroyed, it is called power. Here, because faith is the main thing, only faith is mentioned, and diligence and so on should also be known. Not being attached to the body and so on is to realize that there is no attachment, for example, the bodhisattva always cuts off the flesh of the thigh, breaks the bones, pierces the palms and bleeds, and so on. Not being attached is to realize that there is no self-nature, because it is not regarded as real, so it is called power, this is how it is explained. Thus, after explaining the nature of the beginning, in order to show the nature of the faith of desire, it is said "also". Because one wants to realize the four truths, one relies on a virtuous friend, this is faith in the words of others. The faith in it is the faith of desire. How to understand it? Because it will be said below, "After hearing the words of others, faith arises." Desire is intention, the words of others.
