The five eyes are: the flesh eye, the divine eye, the wisdom eye, the Dharma eye, and the Buddha eye. Manifestation of excellence is of three kinds: manifesting excellence through body, speech, and mind. The qualities of the Thus-Gone One, in brief, are only these. Why is that? Because they encompass all benefits for oneself and others. All the qualities spoken of in the scriptures are also limited to these two alone. Among them, because it is the chief of the five uncontaminated aggregates, the aggregate of seeing the wisdom of liberation is called seeing the unobstructed wisdom. Speaking of the nature of phenomena based on suchness, it is said that what it explains is difficult to see, and so on. Because it is not an object seen from this shore, it is difficult to know. Because it is not an object of valid cognition, it is difficult to know. Because it has become the realm of activity of the noble ones, it is profound. Because it is free from elaboration, its realm of activity is cut off. Because the basis is not established, there is also no eye, and so on. Because there is no subject, the Dharma is not reasonable, and there is also no non-cessation, and so on. Although it is like that, nevertheless, in terms of convention, starting from whatever exists, speaking of the names of phenomena, it is said to be endowed with sixty branches, and so on. The sixty branches of speech should be known from the Secret Inconceivable Sutra. What does it do from that? Because it is the antidote to all delusions. The actions of speech are completely pure, and so on, is what is said. Thus, in order to gather the extensively explained meaning, it is said, "Not unknowing," and so on. Because one knows the meaning of suchness, there is nothing that is not known. Because one knows all that exists, there is nothing that is not seen. By the nature of those two, there is nothing that is not manifested directly, and there is no one who does not realize enlightenment. Actions that are completely pure are said to be endowed with completely pure eyes. Because one sees six times during the day and night, one is endowed with eyes at all times. Or again, because one does not abandon the trainees of the three times, and one sees with the activity of all times and the activity of non-conceptualization, one is endowed with eyes at all times. Because the six superknowledges are the chief of manifest knowledge, what is shown is the superknowledge of the exhaustion of defilements, namely desire.

and so on, such as being free from attachment. Because completely pure seeing is the first of the five eyes, the physical eye is mentioned. Because it is without limit, it is immeasurable. In terms of excellent qualities, the excellent body refers to the invisible crown of the head. It is profound because it reveals the conventional truth. It reveals the ultimate truth by revealing the ultimate truth. These two are the qualities of excellent speech. Excellent mind refers to becoming the unsurpassed of all Buddhist teachings, because it contains the thirty-two major marks and eighty minor marks, so it is the excellent body. In order to show that it possesses the five branches of speech, it shows the excellent speech. What are the five branches of speech? They are: completely knowing and being able to distinguish, being comfortable to listen to and without disharmony, being profound and the sound following accordingly, not being vulgar and being pleasant to the ear, and not being confused and being clear. The thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, the four immeasurables, the eight liberations, the nine successive abidings, the ten pervasive spheres, the eight spheres of mastery, being without afflictions, knowing according to wishes, the four analytical knowledges, the four kinds of complete purity, the ten powers, the ten strengths, the four fearlessnesses, the three protections, the three close attentions, the nature of not forgetting, completely destroying habits, great compassion, the eighteen unshared qualities, these are all the Buddhist teachings, which are the excellent mind. These three qualities should be understood from the Perfection of Wisdom. So what is their nature? For example, it is said, "What is the power of faith in it?" and so on. There are three kinds of faith, namely, the nature of conviction, joy, and desire. Among them, not being destroyed is called power, which means greatness. Among them, the nature of conviction is manifest faith and so on. The Buddhist teachings are the characteristics of the karma and its results that he spoke of without being mistaken, karma and the
