Why is it said? Because of attachment to saying 'I'. Why? Because it is said that it is understood as 'I'. Therefore, it is said that it is a wrong path. How does one enter the wrong path? It is said to be untrue, because 'I' is false, so it is said to be false, because it is bound by non-existence. Even those who practice severe austerities are led by evil thoughts, so it is shown to be tiring. How can those who are immersed in this thought be liberated? What is liberation? It is said to be the three liberations: by seeing things as real, emptiness cannot be realized. Signlessness and desirelessness are not the destination. It is like a blind person seeing the center of the sun. Therefore, the Mahayana Nirvana cannot be touched. How can it be changed? It will not change. Therefore, in order for them to be able to touch it, the method is shown, which is for that purpose. What is the method for that purpose? It is said: In order to completely transform the view. So it is said that for that purpose, one must strive. Why should one only enter into non-self? It is said like this: Because the correct view is the emptiness of Dharma, etc. Emptiness is to destroy the attachment to things, so it is the ultimate conclusion, the ultimate conclusion is indestructible. Its end is thorough. Because there is nothing higher, it is unsurpassed. The correct conduct is to show the profound Dharma, which is through holding. Holding the Dharma is the most supreme of all conducts, it is the cause of achieving the correct view. Perfect conduct is shown like this: How can one completely hold? The answer is shown: Because of gathering, it is said that generosity, etc., which are governed by wisdom, are called perfect conduct. And the correct view is its cause. In order to ascertain that meaning, it is said again. How can conduct become perfect? Its rationality is said from the "Moon Lamp Sutra", empty is small empty. Clean means to show with many, that is from two emptinesses to three emptinesses. Certain is said to be Shakyamuni himself, his pure land is three thousand.

Because of this. Some consider emptiness and so on as symbols. As previously stated, the Buddhas are spoken of by all Buddhas in all worlds with equality. Some say it is because they have seen many similar names. The difference in words is because they are spoken with various sounds. What is the only word? It is what is called "all is emptiness." Being skilled in meaning is like what was said before, otherwise it would be in vain as said before. Not rare is not uncommon, but numerous. What is it? It is the Buddhadharma, that is, powers and so on. Having thus explained the necessity of devotion to the profound Dharma, the next explanation is the special benefit of devotion to the profound Dharma, that is, "devotion to the profound Dharma." How to accumulate merit? That is, "the world" and so on. Combine this with the scriptures. First, in the Sutra of the Boy Jewel, it is stated: "Manjushri." The basis of the distinction is that the distinction of the support is that the Bodhisattva lacks skillful means. The time is a hundred thousand kalpas. The conduct is six, which is the basis of the distinction. The characteristic of the distinction is "by what" and so on. Doubt is a divided mind. Quoting the scriptures is to declare. The second sutra is to cite an example, that is, "the sands of the Ganges." The difference in meaning is saying "so many." The basis of the distinction, the support, is saying "so many men or women," because it is a superior support. Things are jewels, beautiful because of rarity and so on. All are the seven treasures. Numerous is filled. The good place is the Tathagata, because what is done is inexhaustible. The characteristic of the distinction is what is said, "whoever." What is the fruit of the benefit? In terms of manifest increase, it is said "wanting merit" and so on. "Between" means grasping the end. In terms of definite goodness, it is said "Shariputra asked." In terms of the eighth ground, it is definite. Approaching the ninth ground. Obtaining on the tenth ground, therefore it should be regarded as a Buddha. Some say that devotion is divided into three types, that is, determined by one's own realization and so on. Others think that it is due to the karma of liberating the object and
