Regarding someone who has transformed into a manifested Rakshasa, if someone thinks like this: 'I will destroy my house, or the house is burning, intensely burning, completely intensely burning, with flames spreading.' If he seeks armor, Venerable One, wouldn't that person become someone with the fate of obstacles and afflictions? The Blessed One said: 'Manjushri, it is just so.' Manjushri asked: 'Venerable One, it is indeed so. For the sake of taming sentient beings, someone who seeks armor will become someone with the fate of obstacles and afflictions.' Also, in that same sutra, the Blessed One said: 'Manjushri, what dharma is the term 'perfect discrimination' a synonym for?' Manjushri asked: 'Venerable One, what is called 'perfect discrimination' neither considers discrimination nor any dharma to be different, nor does it consider them to be the same. Venerable One, because there is no change, it is non-conceptual. Venerable One, what is called 'perfect discrimination' is a term for the absence of perfect discrimination. Venerable One, relying on perfect discrimination, I do not think like this: 'Am I an ordinary person or a noble Shravaka?' Why is that? Because one does not truly see any dharma that becomes an ordinary person or a noble one. Venerable One, relying on perfect discrimination, a son or daughter of good family abides in such a way in the nature of the Dharma realm, that one does not consider any dharma to be equal, nor does one consider it to be unequal. One does not conceptualize that the dharma of an ordinary person is unequal, nor does one conceptualize that the dharma of a noble one is equal. Why is that? Because any object that is considered equal or unequal is invisible. The monk who considers something equal or unequal does not exist. Such a non-conceptual monk also does not grasp the idea that 'I am non-conceptual.' It also says in the 'Teaching of the Vimalakirti Sutra': 'What is the basis of disease? It is like this.'

Particular clinging is the basis. On the basis of particular clinging, the more one clings, the more it is the basis of disease. What is clung to particularly? It is clinging to the three realms. What is the complete understanding of the basis of particular clinging? It is without clinging and non-clinging. What is non-clinging? It is like this: not clinging to seeing as self, seeing as other, and the two views. Therefore, it is called non-clinging. Also, in that very place, the Bodhisattva Mithongda said: Form itself is emptiness, not empty because form is destroyed, but the nature of form is emptiness. Likewise, feeling, thought, formation, and consciousness are also emptiness. This is called two, that is, consciousness itself is emptiness, not empty because consciousness is destroyed, but the nature of consciousness is emptiness. For this, the five aggregates that are taken by what, are also known as such, and known by wisdom as such, that is entering into non-duality. In the Perfection of Wisdom, the venerable Shariputra asked: Venerable Subhuti, how should a Bodhisattva skillfully practice the Perfection of Wisdom? Subhuti said: O Sharadvatiputra, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva practicing the Perfection of Wisdom does not practice in form, not in feeling, not in thought, not in formations, not in consciousness. Not in the characteristic of form, and so on, not in the characteristic of consciousness. Not in form as permanent, not in impermanent. Not in pleasure, not in suffering. Not in self, not in non-self. Not in peace, not in non-peace. Not in emptiness, not in non-emptiness. Not in sign, not in signless. Not in aspiration, not in non-aspiration. Not in solitude, nor does he practice in non-solitude. Up to consciousness, not in permanence, not in impermanence, and so on, not in solitude, nor does he practice in non-solitude. Likewise, in the realms, in the sources, in dependent origination, in the aspects of enlightenment, in the superknowledges.

And also do not practice the perfections, powers, fearlessness, individual correct knowledge, and the unmixed qualities of the Buddhas, and do not practice even between solitude and non-solitude. Why is that? For example, the emptiness of form of the son of Sharadvati, the venerable one, is not form, and emptiness is not different from form, form itself is emptiness, and emptiness is form, up to the point where consciousness itself is emptiness, and emptiness is consciousness. Likewise, the emptiness between the unmixed qualities of the Buddhas, those are not Buddhas, and the qualities of the Buddhas are not different from emptiness, the qualities of the Buddhas themselves are emptiness, and emptiness is the qualities of the Buddhas. Thus, the Bodhisattva who practices the Prajnaparamita should know the skillful means. Practicing the Prajnaparamita, he does not accept taking, and he does not accept not practicing. He does not accept practicing and also not practicing. He does not accept neither practicing nor not practicing. Why is that? For example, the Prajnaparamita is the nature of non-existent things. Thus it is said. Also in that very Prajnaparamita, the Bhagavan said, " कौशिका (梵文天城体) kauśika (梵文罗马拟音,憍尸迦,汉语字面意思) Kaushika, here a son of good family or a daughter of good family, there are those who teach a semblance of the Prajnaparamita. For them, the semblance of the Prajnaparamita is this: they teach form as impermanent. Likewise, they teach suffering, selflessness, and impurity. Likewise, they teach feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness. Likewise, they teach realms, sources, meditations, immeasurables, formlessness, mindfulness, correct abandonment, miraculous feet, faculties, powers, limbs of enlightenment, paths, powers, fearlessness, individual correct knowledge, unmixed qualities of the Buddhas, and all-knowingness as impermanent."
