Thinking, "I will rejoice in the liberation without characteristics," one exhales well. In this case, the wisdom of liberation without characteristics is that the two and the non-two are completely pure. I abide in the faith that all phenomena do not arise dependently, and thinking, "I should also cause other beings to rejoice in the faith that all phenomena do not arise dependently," I exhale well. In this case, because all conditions are of the nature of non-arising, it is said that "all phenomena do not arise dependently." I abide in the faith that all phenomena have no place, and thinking, "I should also cause other beings to rejoice in the faith that all phenomena have no place," I exhale well. In this case, because there is no nature of different directions and parts, it is said that "all phenomena have no place." I abide in the faith that the Buddha is like the sky, and thinking, "I should also cause other beings to rejoice in the faith that the Buddha is like the sky," I exhale well. In this case, because he does not abide in differences, it is said that "the Buddha is like the sky." I abide in the faith that the Buddha is free from mind, intellect, and consciousness, and thinking, "I should also cause other beings to rejoice in the faith that the Buddha is free from mind, intellect, and consciousness," I exhale well. In this case, because the spontaneously accomplished wisdom is well obtained, it is said that "the Buddha is free from mind, intellect, and consciousness." The Blessed One thus spoke of these five. In the Sutra of Brahma's Special Mind Inquiry, the one with light said, "Brahma, all phenomena are as they are, and all phenomena are not as they are." He said, "Brahma, all phenomena are as they are, and all phenomena are not as they are, what does this mean?" He said, "Because of the inconceivable, all phenomena are as they are. Those who are associated with the inconceivable phenomena are not as they are. The nature of all phenomena being solitary, this is as it is. Those who do not strive for solitude are striving for increase. Those who strive for increase, as much as they increase, that much they are not as they are." He said, "Brahma, what is the cause of all phenomena?" He said, "Son of good family, the boundary of one's own solitary realm, free from desire, is the cause of all phenomena."

Therefore, it is said as such. Furthermore, in the "Seven Hundred Verse" it is said: Manjushri, when you meditate on the Prajnaparamita, where do you abide and meditate on the Prajnaparamita? Manjushri Bodhisattva replied: Venerable Bhagavan, when I meditate on the Prajnaparamita, I meditate on the Prajnaparamita without abiding anywhere. The Bhagavan said: Manjushri, what is it to meditate on the Prajnaparamita without abiding? Manjushri Bodhisattva replied: Venerable Bhagavan, not abiding in anything is to meditate on the Prajnaparamita. The Bhagavan said: Manjushri, when you meditate on the Prajnaparamita, what increase or decrease is there in your roots of virtue? Manjushri Bodhisattva replied: Venerable Bhagavan, at that time there is neither increase nor decrease in my roots of virtue. Venerable Bhagavan, if there is a dharma that increases or decreases, then it is not the meditation on the Prajnaparamita. Thus it is said. In the chapter on the Emanations of Manjushri, the son of the gods asked: Manjushri, how do you show it so that one can truly know it? Manjushri replied: Son of the gods, no one can fully know or distinctly know the wisdom of the Buddha. Why is that? Son of the gods, the wisdom of the Buddha is without attachment, without discrimination, unspeakable, unexpressible, without fabrication, without words, separated from mind, intellect, and consciousness. Therefore, no one can fully know or distinctly know it. The son of the gods asked: Manjushri, if the wisdom of the Buddha cannot be fully known, how can the Shravakas fully know it? How can the Bodhisattvas abide in the irreversible stage? Manjushri replied: Son of the gods, the showing of wisdom by means of letters is the expedient of the Tathagatas, but wisdom is without letters. Son of the gods, just as fire does not come from drilling wood, nor does it come from the wood itself, so too, son of the gods, the Tathagata
