They will not be born in those realms, and no limb will be incomplete. Even if one has committed the five inexpiable sins, if one gains faith in the Tathagata and makes an image of the Tathagata's body, then even if sentient beings experience hell due to that action, they will experience it less severely, and they will definitely emerge from any of the three vehicles. For example, if a person is touched by something impure, they wash it thoroughly clean and then apply perfume, there will be no unpleasant smell. Similarly, the sin of having committed the five inexpiable sins will also disappear. Even if one possesses the path of the ten non-virtuous actions, if one gains faith in the Tathagata and makes an image of the Tathagata's body, then just as butter is burned by a pile of fire, and even the smoke is not visible, so too will that person's sin disappear. Therefore, if a person with bodhicitta emerges from the household, what need is there to mention one who is particularly excellent in moral conduct? In the Sutra of the Heap of Jewels, it says: All sentient beings belonging to the three realms, each making a stupa of the Tathagata as high as Mount Sumeru, the king of mountains, and for as many kalpas as there are grains of sand in the Ganges River, each making offerings with all kinds of offerings, is less than the accumulation of merit of a bodhisattva who is inseparable from the mind of all-knowing wisdom, offering a single flower. It is said that the latter generates much more merit than the former. Furthermore, as it is said in the Sutra of the Heap of Jewels: If all the sentient beings of the thousand-three-thousand great world realm all enter the Great Vehicle, and all possess the sovereignty of a wheel-turning king, and each wheel-turning king makes a lamp vessel as large as the great ocean, burning a wick as large as Mount Sumeru, and each offers such a lamp to the stupa of the Tathagata, it is not even one hundredth of the merit of a bodhisattva who has arisen from a garbage heap, soaking a wick in mustard oil and holding it before the stupa of the Tathagata. The former offering of lamps is not even one hundredth of the latter's wick soaked in mustard oil.

, not even a particle of its dust. Any wheel-turning kings, who serve and attend to the Sangha of monks, including the Buddha, with all the means of comfort, are surpassed by any Bodhisattva who has renounced the household life, takes alms, comes to the alms bowl, and shares it with others, which is far superior. Any wheel-turning kings, who offer a pile of Dharma robes as large as Mount Meru to the Sangha of monks, including the Buddha, are surpassed by any Bodhisattva who has renounced the household life, truly enters the Mahayana, except for the three Dharma robes, and offers them to the Sangha of monks, including the Buddha, and the stupa of the Tathagata, then the previous pile of Dharma robes is subdued by this offering of Dharma robes to the monks. Any wheel-turning kings, each filling the entire Jambudvipa with flowers, offering them to the stupa of the Tathagata, are surpassed by any Bodhisattva who has renounced the household life, offering even a single flower to the stupa of the Tathagata, the previous generosity is not even one hundredth of this generosity, not even a particle of dust. Thus it is said. In the Sutra of Gradual Increase, it is also said: Good ones, if you truly see these four benefits, the Bodhisattva will be delighted to make offerings to the Tathagata. What are the four? One will be offering to the supreme object of offering, and others will imitate by seeing oneself, other beings will also make offerings in the same way, and after offering to the Tathagata, the Bodhicitta will become more firm, and one will be able to see the thirty-two marks of a great person, thereby accumulating roots of virtue, these are the four benefits. This is also the supreme method of making offerings and serving the Tathagata, which comes from the Sutra Requested by Ocean of Wisdom. Ocean of Wisdom, these three are the supreme methods of making offerings and serving the Tathagata. What are the three? Generating the Bodhicitta, and completely

For example, it is like what is said, "Abiding on the earth, and generating great compassion for all sentient beings." One should also always strive for the ultimate offering. As it appears in the Loving Lion's Roar Sutra: If one does not perceive the Buddha as the Buddha, how can one make offerings to the Buddha? That is not possible. So, what is the offering to the Buddha? It is not generating the characteristics of perception. Not attending to what is without mind and what arises from mind, not perceiving the Buddha as the Buddha, not perceiving the Dharma as the Dharma, not perceiving the Sangha, the individual, self and others as self and others, this is the offering to the Tathagata. As it is said in the Perfection of Wisdom: If there is a world as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, filled with the relics of the Tathagata, enough to be bound with ropes; and if someone gives you one of these two, one being the relics of the Tathagata, and the other being the Perfection of Wisdom written in a book, which would you choose? World-Honored One, I would choose the Perfection of Wisdom. Why is that? Because the relics of the Tathagata arise from it, therefore it is worthy of offering. The relics of the Tathagata are completely consecrated by the Perfection of Wisdom. Those sentient beings who truly believe in the complete Nirvana of the Tathagatas are very difficult to find. What is the true belief in the complete Nirvana as spoken by the Tathagatas? It is heard from many sutras, as it appears in the Sutra of the Birthplace of the Tathagata: O sons of the Victorious One, here, if a Bodhisattva Mahasattva wishes to comprehend the great Nirvana of the Tathagatas, the Arhats, the Perfectly Complete Buddhas, he should completely abandon the nature of inherent existence. He should comprehend the Nirvana of Suchness as it is, and comprehend the Nirvana of the Tathagata as it is. Comprehending the Nirvana of the ultimate reality as it is, comprehending the Nirvana of the Dharmadhatu as it is, and
