The maker will transform into such a ripened result. Even after hundreds of millions of kalpas, it will not be wasted. Thus it is said. In the Sutra of the Ten Wheels of Ksitigarbha, it is also said: If one completely abandons killing, one will be respected and revered by all. Always be free from illness and have a long life, be happy and joyful and without harm. In all the places of beings, one will love the path of the Buddha's conduct. Seeing the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, one will quickly attain unsurpassed Bodhi. From there it says: After completely abandoning evil views, cultivate a pure mind of faith, believe in the teachers of the three vehicles, and make offerings to all the Buddhas. Completely liberated from all the evil realms, one will meet with the noble Sangha. Possessing the qualities of a Bodhisattva, one will also attain supreme wisdom. Thus it is said. This is the chapter on higher rebirth, which is the first chapter. The words of the noble truth come from the Sutra of the Ten Wheels of Ksitigarbha: Those who enjoy bustle, uphold morality, hold a teacher, and fear suffering, the wise should know that it is the Hearer Vehicle. Those who enjoy giving, contemplate the cessation of birth, and enjoy secluded dwellings are the Pratyekabuddha Vehicle, the wise should know. Those who are endowed with all roots of virtue, and with a mind of love and compassion, are always happy to benefit others, that is the Mahayana. Those who uphold morality, give up body and life, do not harm or injure sentient beings, and diligently practice the Dharma of emptiness, should know that it is the Mahayana. Thus it is said. In the Nirvana Sutra, it is said: All conditioned existence is not true, it is always accompanied by suffering and faults. It is a Dharma with many faults and fears, and is always tormented by old age, sickness, and death. The nature of conditioned existence is boundless, accompanied by the sound of change and transformation. Afflictions are everywhere, like silkworms. Who among the wise and intelligent would enjoy and admire this? This body is a collection of suffering, everything is impure and filthy. Bound by faults and full of wounds, there is originally no benefit. Up to the bodies of the gods, everything is the same as this, therefore, all desires are impermanent, I will not be attached to them. Abandoning desires

If one believes in this, one will touch the true essence of reality. It is said in the text. Regarding the teaching on entering the womb, furthermore, O noble son, this body, when it stays in the mother's womb for the first seven days, is called "mer mer po," which is the first sign of the body, like yogurt solidifying. For the undigested food, above the lower digestive tract, it is cooked internally, thoroughly cooked, and all five places are tightly bound, just like being inside a single reed. If the mother eats food, or eats cold and hot food, or engages in lust, or performs sacrifices, then the fetus in the womb will experience suffering. If the suffering of being human that I have spoken of is like this, what need is there to mention the suffering of hell beings? Which wise person would desire such a cycle of existence? From the thirty-seventh week onwards, five inverted perceptions arise, what are these five? The perception of impurity, the unpleasant smell, a prison, darkness, and the perception of wanting to get out. After thirty-eight weeks have passed, when one desires to be born, one will be born experiencing various sufferings, therefore this is great suffering. As soon as one falls to the ground, one feels as if one's skin has been peeled off and placed on the ground, as explained in detail in the sutra. Again, it is said from there that even if this body can live to be a hundred years old, it will eventually be destroyed, which wise person would cling to such a cycle of existence? Furthermore, O noble son, this body has two sufferings, what are these two? Many diseases gather in the body, this is called inner suffering. Harm caused by humans and non-humans, this is called outer suffering. For example, inner diseases, eye pain, and so on, up to four hundred and four diseases. Outer sufferings, being imprisoned, having one's ears cut off, and being afflicted by cold, heat, hunger, thirst, and rain, and so on. If the suffering of being human is like this, what need is there to mention the suffering of the lower realms? It is extremely difficult to endure. Furthermore, searching, even if one obtains it, one will be impoverished by stinginess, guarding, losing, and wasting will also generate great suffering. O noble son, in short, this body generates the perception of happiness.
