When dwelling in an iron cauldron, it is extremely hot and burning. Dying and dying, they are reborn, abiding by their own karma. If the hell guardians, in those evil places, strike with pestles and the like, flesh, tendons, bones turn to powder. At that time, a very cold wind arises, and they live from that suffering. They are split with axes and the like, and likewise, they are made to stand on sword trees. Those people who commit sins, iron spears with four points, three points, and five points descend. Swords, beaked crows, heads and limbs are severed, and foxes and wolves devour them. Those people who commit sins are burned extremely hot, crying and wailing loudly, and are burned in the Black Thread Hell. Again and again, they fall into fire pits and rivers of razors. When those people are cooked in large iron pots, they are tormented by dogs. Great rocks made of iron, and unpleasant mountains, at that time, completely destroy their bodies. Although they receive such a result, there is no protection in it. Thus it is said. In the Sutra of Advice to the King, if one sees rebirth in the realm of animals, like in the great ocean, raw fish and the swallowing of raw fish, creatures killing each other, harming and being without freedom. Thinking, 'Will I not be reborn in the realm of pretas?' Like this, not even the sound of water is heard for many years, hundreds of years, and thousands of years, let alone seeing it. Thus it is said. In the Vimalakirti Sutra, what is the speech that tames the difficult to tame? Like this: This is the hell of sentient beings. This is the animal realm. This is the world of Yama. This is the evil conduct of the body. This is the maturation of the evil conduct of the body. This is the evil conduct of speech. This is the maturation of the evil conduct of speech. This is the evil conduct of mind. This is the maturation of the evil conduct of mind. This is stinginess. This is the fruit of stinginess, and so on.

This is perverse wisdom. This is the fruit of perverse wisdom, thus it is said, it tames beings like wild horses, thus it is said. In the Great Nirvana Sutra, it is said: By committing the ten non-virtuous deeds in the extreme, one will experience the results in the hell realms of beings. By committing them in the middle degree, one will experience the body of an animal. By committing them in the lowest degree, one will experience the body of a hungry ghost. Furthermore, it says in the same text: Even a small, tiny sin, should not be despised, thinking it will not harm. Even a small drop of water, will fill a large vessel completely. Thus it is said. In the Sutra Requested by Des, it says: Bitter seeds, will produce bitter fruits. Sweet seeds, will produce sweet fruits. The ripening of sin is bitter, and the ripening of white (virtuous deeds) is sweet. The wise should know this. Thus it is said. In the Advice to the King, it also says: If a king must go according to the times, then enjoyment, friends, and close relatives will not follow. Wherever that person goes, karma will follow like a shadow. Thus it appears. Also, in the Hundred Karmas Sutra, it says: The karmas of all sentient beings, will not be wasted even for a hundred eons. When the field of accumulation and the time have come, it will ripen into its own fruit. Thus it is said. In the Inconceivable Secret, it says: Having faith in the ripening of karma, and knowing that the ripening of white and black karma will not be wasted, one will not do what should not be done, even for the sake of one's life. Thus it is said. Also, from that, friends, there are four dharmas that protect the world, namely, by abandoning desire, hatred, fear, and ignorance, one does not go where one should not go because of desire, one does not go where one should not go because of hatred, one does not go where one should not go because of fear, and one does not go where one should not go because of ignorance. In the Nirvana Sutra, it says: There are also four types of the ten virtues, namely, superior, middling, inferior, and the most superior. Among them, the inferior will be born in a place where the sound is unpleasant. The middling will be born with a superior body. The superior will be born in a place where cattle graze. The most superior will be born in Jambudvipa. In the Ten Wheels of Earth Essence Sutra, it says: Son of lineage
