Now, abiding without separation from the mind of omniscience, thus the aggregate of morality is inexhaustible. If a downfall occurs in the evening, even in the middle of the night, abide without separation from the mind of omniscience, thus the aggregate of morality is inexhaustible. If a downfall occurs in the middle of the night, even at dawn, abide without separation from the mind of omniscience, thus the aggregate of morality of a Bodhisattva who has entered the Great Vehicle is inexhaustible. Near Attendant, thus the precepts of a Bodhisattva who has entered the Great Vehicle are remediable, it is said. In the "Inquiry of Light Protector," it says: Light Protector, if you possess these four qualities, you will forget the mind of enlightenment. Not acting according to the instructions of the giving master, and diligently creating doubts for others, not speaking praises to those beings who have entered the path of enlightenment, but speaking unpleasant words, abandoning deceit, flattery, and adornment, and not thinking of the benefit of others. Light Protector, if you possess these four qualities, then in all lifetimes, the mind of enlightenment will become manifest. What are the four? Even for the sake of life, do not speak false words, always speak meaningful words, always completely abandon deceit and flattery, always regard sentient beings with superior intention, think of the noble beings who abide in enlightenment as Bodhisattvas, keep in mind the thought that they are teachers, and proclaim their praises in the four directions. Lead those sentient beings who are completely ripened to truly uphold the unsurpassed wisdom, and thus you will never forget the mind of enlightenment. It is said. In the "Samadhi of Gathering All Merits," it says: Possessing four qualities will cause you to forget the mind of enlightenment, namely, disrespect for the Dharma, arrogance, disparaging virtuous friends, and speaking wrong words. Again, four qualities: associating with Hearers, delighting in the Lesser Vehicle, hating and slandering Bodhisattvas, and being stingy with the Dharma. Again, four qualities: practicing deceit, practicing flattery, speaking with a double tongue to virtuous friends, and being attached to gain and respect. It is said. The words of the Wheel of Non-Regression.

The third chapter. The speech of the three circles being completely pure is the accomplishment of the six perfections. From the Sutra of Collecting the Correct Dharma: Blessed One, there are also trainings to be practiced, those are also dharma. What are those trainings? All trainings are included in the three trainings. What are the three? They are the higher training in discipline, the higher training in mind, and the higher training in wisdom. Thus it is said. Giving is the samadhi that gathers all merits. A son of good family, a Bodhisattva, generates the thought: I will give this body of mine to all sentient beings, what need is there to mention external objects? Thus one should generate the thought. If there is, then one should give without displeasure and without regret. What need is there to mention wealth, grain, money, jewels, ornaments, cushions, vehicles, and retinues? One should give without regret and without expecting fruition. Otherwise, it is only done for the sake of benefiting sentient beings, compassion, and gathering sentient beings. When I attain enlightenment, may these all realize all dharmas. One does not live on coarse food in order to nourish the body. One does not become angry with others even for the sake of life. Thus it appears. From the Ten Wheels of Earth Store: For the sake of benefiting and bringing happiness to all sentient beings, not for the sake of hoping for the fruit of fruition. Although the object of giving is small, it becomes a true field of merit. Although the object of giving is great, if one dwells in the five desires, then it is not sealed by the noble ones, and one dwells in an uncertain gathering. Thus it is said. From the Question of the Sage Protected: Whoever owns the wealth is the patron. Causing to do, the giver is the one who gives, not the patron. Giving poison, weapons, and meat from killing beings, and giving alcohol to the reckless is impure. Doubting fruition, and being tormented by regret after giving is also impure. If one thinks, 'May I enjoy the fruition of merit myself, and may others not enjoy it,' that is impure.
