It is only so. If things are characterized by the ability to perform functions, then these things cannot produce results sequentially anywhere, because it has been examined above. Nor can they arise simultaneously, like this, if all results arise simultaneously, and if in the future they can still produce the same result in the same way, then at that time, the nature of the ability (to act) will follow, so the result will arise as before. If it does not follow, then it will become impermanent because it loses its previous nature. Therefore, there is nothing called a permanent thing. Therefore, the Bhagavan said, "Great wisdom, for example, clinging to and superimposing on uncreated things such as space, cessation, and nirvana, is superimposing from non-existence." Thus, for the time being, these things cannot arise from the permanent. Nor can it arise from the impermanent, because from that (impermanent), the past and the future are without things, so it cannot be said to arise from that (impermanent), because it will become arising from no cause. Because things that are not simultaneous and simultaneous do not arise, so the present action does not arise either. Like this, for the time being, not simultaneous (arising) is not (reasonable), because it is the same as the nature of the cause, so the result also arises at the same time as it, because it has been established. Nor can it arise from different times, if it arises interrupted by another time, then it will become arising from the past and so on. If it arises without interruption, if all natures are not interrupted, then in one instant all instants will be contained, so the kalpa will become only an instant, for example, all the natures of the atoms are mixed together, becoming only a lump the size of an atom. If one part touches, then at that time the instant will have parts. Oneself will not arise either, because it only arises from no cause. Because this side is contained within the side, because it is contradictory for oneself to do (action) to oneself. Nor is it from both, because it will contain the faults of both sides. Therefore, in the ultimate truth, all these things are unborn, but in the conventional truth, there is birth, so it is not contradictory to the scriptures and so on.

Thus, the Blessed One also declared: Things arise in conventional truth, but in ultimate truth, they have no inherent existence. If there is no inherent existence, what delusion is there? This is considered the true conventional truth. So it is. The Blessed One also understood this reason, from green barley sprouts and so on, it is prevented from arising from self, other, both, and without cause. In one way, it should be analyzed by reasoning in this way: things are of two kinds, namely, form and formless. Among them, for the time being, those forms such as pots are the nature of different atoms, so they are not of one nature. The atoms located in the east and west are also different because they have directions such as east, and if they are separated, they cannot be established, so the atoms are of the nature of accumulation. It is also not of many natures. Since there is no other nature of things other than the nature of one and many, these form things are only devoid of nature in the ultimate sense, like the forms seen in dreams and so on. Moreover, in the Lankavatara Sutra, the Blessed One taught: Great wisdom, even the horn of an ox cannot be found if it is broken down into atoms. If the atoms are broken down separately, they will not remain in the nature of atoms. So it is. Those that are formless are also devoid of nature if they are examined in the same way. Thus, by the power of external blue and other meaningless things, the aggregates that are not form, such as consciousness, must be accepted as the nature of blue and so on. The Blessed One also said: External form does not exist, but one's own mind appears as external. Thus he taught. Therefore, since it appears in various forms such as blue, and since it appears in the form of grasping and being grasped, it cannot be of one nature. Since one and many are incompatible, one cannot be the nature of many alone. Since the nature of anything is not established as one, it cannot be the nature of many, because many are the nature of the union of one. If these aspects of form and so on
