Son of the earth, remember your past aspirations, the accomplishment of the meaning of sentient beings, and the inconceivable gate of wisdom! Furthermore, son of the lineage, this is the dharmata of all dharmas. Whether the Tathagatas appear or do not appear, this dharmadhatu is the very nature of abiding. Thus, all dharmas are emptiness, and all dharmas are without characteristics. With this, it is not that the Tathagatas are merely differentiated, but all the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas also attain this non-discriminating dharmata. Furthermore, son of the lineage, our body is immeasurable, wisdom is immeasurable, Buddha-fields are immeasurable, the manifestation of wisdom is immeasurable, the mandala of light is immeasurable, and the utterly pure limbs of sound are immeasurable. Relying on this, may you also generate such manifestation! Son of the lineage, whatever non-discriminating appearance you have towards all dharmas, this is exhausted in a single appearance. Son of the lineage, for the Tathagatas, such a limitless appearance of dharma will occur, actions are limitless and connections are limitless. In order to attain those that have no number, no counting, no measure, no example, and no comparison, generate manifestation! Son of the lineage, for a while, rely on the immeasurable realms of the ten directions, immeasurable sentient beings, and immeasurable divisions of dharmas, count them as they are! Thus it was spoken. O sons of the Victorious Ones, thus, for such a Bodhisattva, the Buddhas, the Bhagavatas, with what immeasurable manifestation of wisdom, etc., do those who manifest the path of manifesting the immeasurable divisions of wisdom of the Bodhisattva closely accomplish it? O sons of the Victorious Ones, you should have faith! You should understand! If the Buddhas, the Bhagavatas, had not caused that Bodhisattva to enter the gate of manifesting all-knowing wisdom in such a way, then he would enter into Nirvana, and the work of accomplishing the meaning of all sentient beings would also be interrupted, thus it is extensively spoken.

It is said that this is how it is taught, and what was said from the Gaya Rock Mountain, which was mentioned above, is also a general statement, so it also contradicts this. It also contradicts what was said in the "Arya Sarva Dharma Samgraha Sutra." It says: Manjushri, the obscuration of abandoning the true Dharma is small. Manjushri, some people think that the teachings spoken by the Tathagata are good, and some people think they are bad, and that is abandoning the true Dharma. Those who abandon the Dharma, because they abandon the Dharma, are slandering the Tathagata, as explained in detail in the sutra. The sutra also says: Maitreya Bodhisattvas, if you perfectly practice the six perfections for the sake of enlightenment, then foolish people will say that Bodhisattvas should only study the Prajnaparamita, and they will slander the other perfections. Maitreya, what do you think? When I was the king of Kashi, I gave my flesh and blood for the sake of a pigeon, was that wisdom corrupted? Maitreya Bodhisattva replied: Bhagavan, no. The Bhagavan said: Maitreya, when I practice the Bodhisattva conduct, because I have pure roots of virtue endowed with the six perfections, are those roots of virtue harmed? Maitreya Bodhisattva replied: No. The Bhagavan said: Maitreya, you have perfectly practiced the perfection of generosity for sixty kalpas, the perfection of discipline for sixty kalpas, and even the perfection of wisdom for sixty kalpas, but those foolish people say that there is only one way to become enlightened, that is, through emptiness, as explained in detail in the sutra. Therefore, both of these methods should be taught by Bodhisattvas at all times. In this way, the non-abiding Nirvana of the Tathagata can also be achieved. In this way, through means such as generosity, by fully enjoying the perfect results of great merit, such as the form body, the pure land, and attendants, the Bhagavan can be completely liberated from suffering.

Nor does it abide in the past. By completely abandoning perversion with wisdom, it also does not abide in samsara, because the root of samsara is perversion. This path of the nature of wisdom and skillful means completely abandons the extremes of superimposition and denigration, thereby revealing the Middle Way, because wisdom abandons the extreme of superimposition, and skillful means abandons the extreme of denigration. Therefore, it is also stated in the Holy Dharma Collection: One rejoices in the complete accomplishment of the form body with auspicious marks and signs, but one does not rejoice merely in the realization of the Dharma body. It is also said: The Tathagata is born from wisdom and skillful means, and it should also be known that there is a possibility of relying on others. From the Vairochana Abhisambodhi Sutra, it is also said: That omniscient wisdom arises from the root of compassion, arises from the cause of bodhichitta, and is the perfection of skillful means. Those who understand the Dharma as being like a raft should even abandon the Dharma, what need is there to mention non-dharma? This statement is also intended to abandon the clinging to perversion, and it is said with that in mind, not that it is unstable for the sake of accomplishing what is necessary. It is also said: Although one completely upholds the Dharma, one should not grasp it wrongly, which means one should not wrongly grasp the path. Some say that whatever is said about the fruits of samsara, such as giving, is directed towards those who are separated from wisdom, such as giving, as mentioned earlier, and those who are content with just those roots of virtue, in order to make them rejoice in higher and higher roots of virtue. If it were not so, then it would contradict everything previously mentioned, such as the teachings of the Holy Vimalakirti Sutra. Therefore, it is necessary to rely on both wisdom and skillful means. Among them, only giving and so on that are completely grasped by wisdom obtain the name of paramita, otherwise not. Therefore, in order to completely purify giving and so on, one should abide in equanimity and make even greater effort to generate wisdom.
