They are near the realm of activity, and thus, without effort, they are clear in their own nature, each by itself. So it is said. Therefore, even if the nature of no-self becomes an excellent habit, as long as the yogi experiences it, the nature of no-self is only separate from the characteristics seen by ordinary people and others. From the delusion of things and non-things, etc., the defilements of attachment, etc., this mind is without characteristics, and only this appears clearly. After this, it is impossible to cultivate in reverse, why? Because if you send thoughts in advance, cultivate for your own benefit or for the benefit of others, if you strive diligently, then only this becomes what is done, why should you engage in other labors? It is said that it is because it is meaningless and because it is not doing anything. For example, when food and medicine, etc., appear to be desired and mature, it is the same, but in any case, it is possible that other maturity is not desired here, but only this maturity is the ultimate term of excellence, and there is no fault in this case. Furthermore, harmlessness and true meaning, in nature, are reversed, although diligent, there is no harm, because the mind holds that side. As it is said in the Commentary on Valid Cognition, it will be examined again. Thus, when not in meditative equipoise, only the phenomena of the nature of conventional and ultimate truth are the objects of focus. When in meditative equipoise, when all the elaborations of conceptual thought cease, there is nothing to focus on, etc., and one abides. The purpose is the purpose of accomplishing all things, and because it is the accomplishment of deeds, the afflictions with habitual tendencies and the obscurations of knowledge are abandoned, and the twenty-two bodhicittas become the path, until all things are understood in every way, that is, what the Noble One said in the explanation of the Blessed Mother, that is, from the time of the first generation of mind, it comes from the expression. There is no birth or death of any dharma, that is, in the time of remembrance, the position of the former and the latter

Among the aggregates, knowing through the manner of destruction and arising, etc., as well as those in samsara, those who have entered the stream, those who abide in the fruition, etc., is the nature of the supreme mind of all sentient beings' aggregates, these are the three. Similarly, it is said in the treatise: "The supreme mind of all sentient beings, these three, abandonment and realization, the cause of the three great self-born, is to accomplish this matter." Bodhisattvas, etc., who will themselves become Buddhas. The difference between the object of focus and the accomplishment is to be known as the arrow's assembly and hitting the target, being the same as the Dharma. At that time, self-nature is the object of focus, because it is simultaneous with practice, it is to distinguish the things of that object. The accomplishment is someone far away, it is the nature of the state of the fruit of that arising. Thus, generate a mind that possesses lineage, object of focus, and accomplishment. The nature of generating that mind is stated in the Twenty-five Thousand Verse: "Bodhisattvas must in any way become Buddhas in unsurpassed, perfect enlightenment, and also accomplish the benefit of others, thus seeking its meaning." It is also said in the treatise: "Generating the mind is for the sake of others, desiring perfect enlightenment." Thus, the desire for perfect enlightenment is the virtuous Dharma desire that seeks that meaning, it arises from the mind, if one has it, then one generates the mind towards enlightenment, thus it is the imputation of the fruit on the cause, thus, it is for knowing that all the virtuous Dharmas that seek that meaning will increase. Also, practicing simultaneously with seeking that meaning is to impute the name as generating the mind, thus, it is for knowing that generating the mind arises simultaneously with seeking that meaning. Furthermore, the mind is manifest desire, thus, the one who desires to go is said to be my mind desiring to go. Generating that is generating the mind. Manifest desire, because it is not confused from arising, saying arising is for the sake of completely grasping the meaning of difference. Generating desire for perfect enlightenment is manifest desire.
