Therefore, the basis of the twenty-two types of bodhicitta that are the cause of uttering speech, their distinctions, and the practice of armor starting from aspiration, etc. As it is said: "The six dharmas of realization, the antidote and abandonment, the culmination of those, wisdom with compassion, the uncommonness of disciples, the order of benefiting others, wisdom without effort, the basis for entering is called lineage." These verses and the explanation of the twenty-five thousand verse treatise were spoken by the feet of the noble Vimuktisena. Why, from the beginning of generating bodhicitta, are the four aspects that accord with the part of ascertainment, and on the path of seeing and the path of meditation, there and there, bodhisattvas are called bodhisattvas, the Bhagavan should be spoken of, etc. The antidote is the Prajñāpāramitā. Abandonment is of the dissimilar aspects, which is the nature of the completely pure realm of dharma. The culmination of antidote and abandonment is going to the ultimate, that is, the antidote reaching the ultimate and the dissimilar aspects being exhausted to the ultimate. Simhabhadra said that the culmination is abandoning the conceptualizations of those with arising and ceasing. If so, this is the naturally abiding lineage, coming from beginningless time, obtained by the nature of dharma. This is born from properly taking it up, obtained by the habituation of previous virtuous roots. This is the lineage of the Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas, which is determined for a certain time. This is the lineage of the Tathāgatas, which is always determined. This is the lineage of the Śrāvakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Tathāgatas, which is undetermined, because it is robbed by conditions, so it is not reasonable for lineages to be different. The Bhagavan also said: "Mañjuśrī, if the realm of dharma is one, suchness is one, and the ultimate boundary of reality is one, how is it posited as a vessel and a non-vessel?" If asked, this is true, but even so, because the dharmas of dependence, the Śrāvakas, the Pratyekabuddhas, and the complete Buddhas, are different, the lineages of the Śrāvakas, etc., should be established as different designations.

For example, although space has no differences, there are different paths such as bird paths, cart paths, and sun paths. Because the realization of Bodhi by Śrāvakas and others comes before the realization of great Bodhi, these are shown as temporary, so they are shown as belonging to the Śrāvaka lineage. Those who, from the beginning, realize the bhūmis such as the Extremely Joyful One and gradually cultivate the unsurpassed Bodhi are called the Mahāyāna lineage. From the perspective of terminology, different lineages are not contradictory, but in reality, it is not so. As it is said: Where there is not even a little bit of fabrication, that is the unconditioned, and that is the same as the lineage of the noble ones, and that lineage is equal to space, without any difference. That lineage is constant because all dharmas are of one taste. That lineage is the nature of dharma at all times, so it is wisdom and so on. The definitive word is that from this, qualities increase upwards and are completely generated, so it is lineage. Or because of going, beings are "go." Because it protects them, it is lineage. Or here, "ga" means to abide, for example, it is said that space pervades everywhere. Understanding it as "going" or "abiding" is the dharma of dependence. It protects, holding in an unwavering state, so it is called lineage, that is, the support. Then, how can the dharmadhātu, which is without self-nature, be the support for those who generate bodhicitta? For example, the space without self-nature is like the light of the moon and sun, and the appearance of dispelling darkness. The object is to be aimed at by what should be abandoned and what should be taken, so it is the realm of accomplishment. What is it? All dharmas. Among them, non-virtuous actions such as killing, and unspecified bodily actions, are to be abandoned. Worldly and transmundane virtues, such as generosity, are to be taken. In this way, self-nature is primary, and the primary transformation is the object, and neither prevents both, so the difference in the nature of the support and the object, and the purification of the object, also become reasonable. Therefore, it is said: Subhūti, the Bodhisattva, with all dharmas, attachment and existence
