Emptiness destroys existence. Peace is the abode of all phenomena. This should be constantly meditated upon. Because it is unborn, it is called emptiness. Because it is without characteristics, it is emptiness itself. Whoever meditates on an inferior self. This is not meditating on that here. All the discriminations of good and non-good. The characteristic of cutting off embellishments. The Buddhas have declared as emptiness. Others consider it not emptiness. With a mind without characteristics. Abiding in the nature of space. This alone is meditating on space. Emptiness should be contemplated as empty. Why is it that phenomena are not unborn? Therefore, it is proclaimed as emptiness. In short, the five aggregates. It is said to be all phenomena. When speaking of suchness as it is. It is not the cessation of conventional truth. But it is separate from conventional truth. Suchness is without characteristics. Why is it that conventional truth is spoken of as emptiness? Emptiness alone is conventional truth. Because it is certain that it does not arise if it does not exist. Like things that are made and impermanent. Conventional truth arises from afflictions. Action truly arises from the mind. The mind also arises from habits in the mind. Happiness comes from being free from habits. The mind of happiness is peace itself. The mind of peace is without ignorance. Without ignorance, one knows that very nature. Knowing that very nature, one obtains liberation. The supreme Bodhicitta is that very nature. It is said to be emptiness. Suchness and the ultimate limit. Suffering, selflessness, etc., are also like that. The single taste of enlightenment for the sake of others. Arises from the sprout of Bodhicitta. The root of compassion is firm. It is practiced by the sons of the Victorious Ones. Those who are firm through meditation. Abandoning the bliss of contemplation. Tormented by the suffering of others. Even entering into the Avici hell. This is wonderful, this is worthy of praise. This is the supreme Dharma. Although it is so, it is wonderful that they. Abandon their own body and benefit. Those who, knowing these dharmas to be empty. Rely on actions and their results. More wonderful than wonderful. More marvelous than marvelous. With the intention to protect sentient beings. Although born in the swamp of existence. They are not stained by the faults of that birth. Like a lotus petal is not wetted by water. These ones, with the fire of emptiness wisdom. Burn the firewood of afflictions. Yet compassion

Through the power of moisture, the noble sons such as Sudhana, Brahma, Ishvara, Near Ishvara, and the fierce ones, dwell perfectly as reflections. With the activity of subduing beings, they perform plays with thoughts of compassion. Thus it is said. Therefore, the Bhagavan has said that even without practice, the mind of enlightenment produces great results in samsara. As it is said in the Sutra of Advice to the Noble King: "Therefore, King, you should generate desire, faith, diligence, and aspiration for this perfect enlightenment. Whether walking, standing, going, sitting, or lying down, whether asleep or not, whether eating or drinking, always remember it in your mind. Meditate on the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Noble Hearers, Solitary Buddhas, and all ordinary beings, as well as my own past, future, and present roots of virtue, and rejoice in them. Then, in order to enable all sentient beings to attain omniscience and to perfect all the Buddha's teachings, dedicate these roots of virtue to the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment three times a day, morning, noon, and evening." And so on. Then it was said again: "Great King, by the ripening of the roots of virtue of the mind of perfect enlightenment, you will be born many times in the realm of the gods, and many times in the realm of humans. And in all births as gods and humans, you will become the ruler of kingdoms." Thus it is said. Therefore, it is established that the mind of enlightenment, which takes practice as its essence, is indeed a very vast result. Therefore, it is said in the Arya Prashna Vimala Sutra: "The merit of the mind of enlightenment, if it had form, would fill the entire expanse of space, and still there would be more. As many as the sands of the Ganges, if someone were to fill all the Buddha fields with precious jewels and offer them to the Protector of the World, if someone were only to join their palms and generate the mind for enlightenment, this offering would be especially superior, and its merit would be limitless." Thus it is said. The Arya Tree Sutra.
